So I want to talk to an objective person about my feelings and about how I feel about gender. I am wondering if I would need to talk to a gender therapist or (so my parents don't find out quite yet) I could just talk to an average everyday therapist? Thanks.

All it takes is time, money and transportation. Possibly your school has a consoler that you could use but seeing somebody privately is difficult without your parents knowing. I am going to give you a couple of links you might find useful. The first is our WIKI (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Transgender) which explains what transgender it. The second is "the transition channel" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfO3B57E6NpIn-KsVjvmLLw) where a gender therapist will help you explore your feelings. If you have specific questions, ask them on this thread and if somebody doesn't get here first, I will answer them for you.
