Title: anyone still depressed?
Post by: imissmymama on April 02, 2017, 01:16:57 AM
Hi again everyone

I have been on HRT for 10 years, I live and work as a woman. But all my life, since I was a teenager, I have been depressed. I dont think I have been less depressed even after I trainsitioned, I wouldn't say I feel worse, but I don't think I have felt particularly better even with the transition. Is anyone else in the same boat? A large part of it has to do with my mother passing away three years ago, but I feel like I will always be depressed no matter what...

Hi! Sorry, you're still there? Have you ever received therapy and talked about your mother passing away?

Maybe there's a chemical imbalance. I recommend seeing a psychiatrist, I used to know a guy who did took all the anti-depression medications in the world and he was still depressed. (I kind of dump him for it too, but I was really young at that time; 18)

I only get depressed when thinking about my lack of love life.
