Hey all
So I am now almost 3 weeks post op. All is going well so far.
I have to say though, I am pretty concerned about when it comes to having sex. Now for me personally, I know I will wait it out until I am fully healed and feel confident and comfortable with having sex with my new vagina.
However, I am slightly worried that the whole experience will be painful. This concern stems from the fact that the dilators on the market don't seem to be wide enough in comparison to anyone ive ever been with in the past.
I am concerned that I may meet someone who is the love of my life, and that they potentially may have a penis that is just too big.
My current larger dilator is 3.75in round. Are there dilators out there that go bigger? The biggest I have seen was I believe 4in round. But I am still concerned that this will not be big enough!
Are these concerns realistic, or am I just stressing myself out too much?
I know that moving on to bigger dilators takes time.. but I just panic that my sex life will be miserable, when thats one of the things ive always most looked forward to as a woman!

Hello,
The #4 Soul Source dilator is 1.5 inches in diameter or 4.71 inches in circumference.

My 34 year old dilator is a dildo and I was instructed to buy it from a dirty book store. It's also 1.5 inches in diameter and was a good deal cheaper than the medical grade dilators at the time. That said, if it's an issue, I do know a source for a dilator that is even larger however most of the time, 1.5 inches should be adequate. Also remember that a penis is soft and may reduce it's diameter a bit on insertion thus allowing you to receive something a bit bigger than your dilator.

What you have is on the small side. You can get up to 1.5" diameter (4.71" circumference). here https://soul-source-sd.myshopify.com/collections/grs-vaginal-dilators/products/soul-source-grs-vaginal-dilators-size-4 (https://soul-source-sd.myshopify.com/collections/grs-vaginal-dilators/products/soul-source-grs-vaginal-dilators-size-4) they have 7/8" through 1.5" many of the US surgeons supply these.
My surgeon started me out with 10 minutes on the 1-1/8" and 10 minutes on the 1-3/8". The larger one was not all that comfortable for the first 12 weeks but now is no problem. I plan on starting to ease in the 1.5" diameter at my 6 month mark. If you can take the 1-3/8" easily then I don't think you would have a problem with the majority of men.

you'll be fine. I can barely get my green one in. It's pretty big in circumference/diameter.
That said, remember, the average male penis is about 5-6" long in the USA. The average woman's vaginal depth is 3-5"
Now you also have to remember that a cisgender woman's vagina is very elastic and according to my surgeon Dr. Rumer a neo-vagina is just as elastic.
The male penis is also elastic and is able to compact down when entering a smaller/tigther vagina and a woman's vagina will expand to accomodate a penis.
You're basically going through female puberty right now. The first time you have sex, it is going to hurt just it like it would a teenage female virgin. The more you have sex, the less it will hurt. Eventually it will stop hurting and it will open up a bit.
