So today I started my new job, filled in some paperwork.
Gender _Male / _Female
Underneath male and female I put non-binary.
See how this goes.....

Hi Mikka,
Maybe, maybe not.
Your writing your gender shows HR that their induction form needs revision - that's never a bad thing especially if they tout diversity or inclusion in their values, but it may raise a few eyebrows.
If your new management asks questions, I'm sure that you'll be able to come up with something, thinking along the lines of honesty and integrity ;)

If they are a bit reasonable I don't think it's a problem, the first thing is that you're approaching your true self and there's nothing wrong with expressing it!
And I can say the same, if they ask questions I'm sure you'll manage, you have the right to define yourself as you really feel, good luck in your new job! :)

Everything they said plus I think that's pretty cool.
Best of luck with the job and the company.

Thank You everyone for your support.
I mean does gender really matter?? As long as I am a hard worker right? I'm just saying if you see me at work wearing skinny jeans tank top and a leather jacket... Management can't question me, because when I applied I put NB ...

Free gender expression only annoys or stupid people or ignorant people. To my mind, and as econ student, in the context of an enterprise, unless the management is full of this kind of people, production and performance are the things that really matters. Nonetheless, if they didn't say you anything now, I'd think there's no problem :)

Hmm..... starting to get worried at my new job. So today the chef told me on the paper work form.. there is something she can't read clearly. Well 1.Because I wrote in green ink.. The thing that is bothering me that she said she can't read clearly on the "personal" page. I am afraid she will ask me about my gender and I ment by non-binary. It's non of her business what my gender is. I mean yeah sure I just started this work for 1 week now. Its... okay..... The best I can tell her is... I don't feel like a male and some days I feel feminine, and others I don't feel like anything. I can tell her I am transitioning, if that helps. There were bigger issues that happened today, service wise. So at the end of the day I kinda brushed off the topic about my "paper work", what should I do if she questions my identity? I don't feel comfortable talking to her about this in front of everyone... Its more like a management confidential topic.

If you see she can understand your issues, just be sincere and tell what you meant with that, it's something you feel and will not interfere with your job, it's a personal feeling and no one can question it. If not, just be cautious and good luck!
