Hey everyone so a few days ago I switched from pills to injections I went in to learn to do it my self the nurse seemed shocked at the amount of liquid being injected. So she insisted we split it into two injections one on each side of the bum I'm Just worried it wont be absorbed the same has anyone else split the injection on here know if it still work's the same? Has me worried since my next injection isn't for anouther 11 days

How many cc or ml did you inject? I believe as much as 3 ml or cc can be injected in the buttocks. I inject 1 ml and the nurses were fine with that. I never needed to split. In any event, it shouldn't affect absorption, as far as I know.

Depending on mg/ml I have only needed to inject 1 or 2 ml at a time. I inject in the outer thigh muscle.

Really only 1or 2 ml? She has me on 8 every 14 days it seems to be working just fine I can really feel the difference the pills were not doing anything for me at all. I'll have to double check the dosage next time I go in

OMG 8ml? That's a ton. Estradiol valerate? That's 16x the amount I inject every 7 days. The vial only had 5ml in it. Wow!

I suspect she is confusing ml and mg. One ml (or 1 cc) can contain 10, 20 or 40 mg Estradiol Valerate. For Estradiol Cypionate, it's usually 1 or 5 mg per ml or per cc.
