I was a nymphomaniac before and I always wanted sex with men as pre-op and even when I was recent post-op I was still the same but now 3 years post-op, sex doesn't mean absolutely anything to me now. I feel like I'm back again like when I was a child.

I started testosterone gel too (Androgel, in a sachet, a small amount daily) but didn't really notice an increase in libido. Maybe I'm not applying enough. One thing that seems to trigger libido in me is progesterone. Same for several other women. Worth a try...ask your doctor. I'm also post-op.

No, really. I'm in the same boat. I have been adding P to the HRT since it used to restore my libido (it was already very low pre-SRS. But I suspect it's a lot mental too. It's very hard to lock in the wardrobe for 15-20 minutes all of my inner fears, even for a masturbation session. I will start thinking about how disgusting my body is, if this passes for a real one... It does not help either that after a dilation session my libido will be in negative values. I have ended asociating my genitalia with pain and annoyance, so it will still be some time until I can do it.
The butt stuff does manage to kickstart me, though. I'm considering adding kinks, BDSM... I still can feel sexually attracted to somebody if I am emotionally attached (demisexual), but a hook up / sex for fun? Not possible. I feel so vulnerable that it kills my libido even more. Ever notice that if you rest the guitar on your hip bone (pelvic bone?) and play the A string you can really feel the resonance? That was a pleasant discovery when I was home alone one evening practicing.
Have you tried playing the mental game more? Movies, books, poetry, or music that stir the blood? I'm not post-op so I could be completely full of it, but I find that the more I work at paying attention to things that turn me on even a little bit, the stronger the effect becomes over time, until one day the wind blows and it's like..oh, hi :icon_redface:
Or if I just ignore it and get buried in life's misfortunes then I may as well be asexual.
Just my experience, maybe it helps, maybe you're way past that. Either way, I hope everyone gets it figured out...life seems much more magical with it than without it, ifyouknowhatimean :)

Libido depends very much on your age. I am 67 and everything sexual is just a fond memory. There are many other things in life beyond sexual relationships.
