Hello! I am very new to HRt (1 Month) and I was wondering how back and chest hair is effected? I have a lot of light hair from shoulder to shoulder on my chest and a visible amount on my back. it causes me a lot of dysphoria and I would love to not need every inch of my body to have electrolysis. thank you to anyone with info to help.
Background: 18 Yrs old, 1 month HRT, Hairy men in the family, typically little to no hair women. I have a French and German mix background.

I was very hairy before HRT and surgery, with full chest hair. Now, years later, the vast majority of that hair is gone. On my chest it mostly either vanished completely or turned into little, thin, blonde hairs. The same thing happened on my stomach (I never had back hair) though my lower abdomen responded the least. I was able to run a razor over everything once a month or so to stay visibly clear, but now I am having electrolysis to clear up any remaining excessive hair on my torso. Everybody is different, but most of us will have a pretty good reduction in body hair thanks to HRT.

At 7 months in, back hair is almost completely gone, according to my wife. We haven't had to shave it in the last 3 months. The chest and belly hair I have to shave about every week and a half. It is noticeably thinner and lighter overall, but some are still dark and thick. The leg hair is still pretty thick, and leaves red dots where the follicles are. The facial hair growth rate has slowed, but it is still thick and scratchy. Your mileage may vary.
