Title: Late game breast development
Post by: Codia on April 16, 2017, 04:25:21 AM
I'm 27 years old and have been on the ol' HRT meow for nearly three years and to date have had very little breast growth.  I'm still a ways off from fitting a 36A.  Don't get me wrong, I like my small tits; however, I'm hoping to see the growth continue.  They've grown more in the last couple months than they have all together which makes me hopeful.  My momma bear is pretty busty, and I understand that everyone is effected differently and develops at different rates.  I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and seen any significant amount of growth after the three year mark.

I've seen more growth after having my dose adjusted or adding progesterone. I'm 14 yrs post-HRT and I am currently experiencing breast growth.

After getting my HRT figured out, I am seeing growth after almost 40 years. That was totally unexpected. The place to start would be to find out what your Total estrogen and Estradiol numbers are and don't forget the units. Next question is how are you taking your medication. Pills, patches, implants, injections or what ever. Not every delivery system works for everybody. Most people have a fairly good response to HRT but not always so a little snooping around might give you a clue as to what is going on.

Dosage is important. Talk to your physician.

I have been on HRT for more than 25 years, and only in the last 4 years, went from 36A to 36C after having my prescription changed.

The right dose for YOU, irrespective of estradiol levels, should be determined so that optimal growth and results are gotten. While keeping things safe, of course. :)

One thing that has not been mentioned is you percentage body fat. Women should be about 20 % body fat, maybe a little more. Breast tissue is mainly glandular and fatty tissue.

HRT works very well developing glandular tissue. As trans women, we may need higher HRT levels that natal women to properly develop our breasts.

In my family, some women are busty and others are not so busty. Just because your mother is busty, you may or may not have the busty gene.

Yeah, also as Dani said, the women in your family can be a point of reference. Most people usually say expect at least a cup size smaller than that of a sibling, mother, etc

After nine months on HRT I begin to develop to B cups and my family begin to notice the change.

You are going  to develop how ever you are going to develop. There is no hard fast rule about breast development.

But you can increase your odds of getting optimal results, with the right hormones and right amounts for you prescribed by your doctor, remaining healthy, etc. It's not only up to the genes.

I wish there were a galley of mtf breasts: this one on x  amount of spiro for such and such a period.  This one on estrogen and progesterine with this quantity for so long.  This one saline surgerized; this one silicone surgerized.  Just to compare.

I don't think there is a real rule. My experience is that I have been on E and T blockers and I use a use a progesterone cream in my nipples twice a day and I have grown a 36D after 2 years. But we are all different.

Genetics most likely plays a role but how much? My mother was large at about a D cup, two sisters just like Mom and another sister . . . Fried eggs. Go figure. I was on a high dose estrogen & progesterone for 6 months with breast development just really starting towards the end of the 6 months and maybe an A cup, the hormones and my source ran out. This year, 27 years later, I re-started on low dose Estradiol, Progesterone and Spiro and breast growth was almost immediate. Pretty surprising to me since now it's low dose and I had more growth in the first month alone than I did 27 years ago in 6 months. Genetics? Dunno maybe.
