Title: Dr. Dugi - Portland, OR
Post by: BriannaF on April 17, 2017, 04:19:25 PM
Anyone been to Dr. Dugi for GCS?

He's the only provider linked to my insurance and I understand he is somewhat new, but was wondering if anyone has gone through surgery with him yet? Or even met with him for a consult?

I have the initial meeting with him in a few weeks and not sure what to expect from him. Just wanted to see if anyone can provide some insight into how he is as a doctor and how that first meeting went.

Thanks!!

He has been discussed here and on ->-bleeped-<- (with more in depth review of him ). Either way his wait list is supposedly 2 years now

I have been to see him and left very impressed. When I saw him for a consult he was brand new and had done about 20 procedures, but he's very booked and has been doing at least 2 a week as far as I know. He went into a lot of detail about his surgical philosophy and asked me a lot of probing questions to determine what was important to me. I am now trying to get a surgery date with him, but unfortunately he now has a long waiting list (it was about 4 months when I saw him in October, and about 14 months last time I talked to him.) From what I saw and heard, though, I would absolutely recommend him.

I have two FTM friends who have been to him for bottom surgery and both are very happy with their outcomes. I also know two other guys who went to him to have issues fixed that were from another surgeon. Everybody seems to like him a lot. I have yet to speak to someone that isn't happy with how things turned out or were handled. If he wasn't on the opposite side of the country, I might have considered him.

Only one I know of that had a bad fistula ... which was discussed here on Susan and ->-bleeped-<- ... he (Dugi ) probably remedied it by now
