Title: What is the most interesting/humorous method of coming out that you have heard?

Interested to hear unique ways you've heard where someone has come out to friends and family in a light-hearted, courageous way, or other unique approaches. I know that many times it's a difficult process, but I'm sure there are experiences that are less so...

I am sure others will have more interesting stories. But my best one was when I came out to my next door neighbour. I said, in an email, "I know you work with LGBT youth. Well, I'm not a youth and I'm not G or B."

Not trying to Debbie Downer your thread, and hopefully I won't. I came out to my family when I got word that my mother was dying. I told my sisters then so there wouldn't be any surprises, or any expectations of me manning it up for family. They accepted me as their sister immediately. :)
So the inevitable happens and Mom passes away. My sister flies up to Boston and I meet her at the airport. We stand by the carousel but her luggage never comes out. She goes over to Lost Luggage and the guy says "We're terribly sorry. There is a reimbursement, but we can usually reconnect you with your baggage. May I ask what was in the bag?"
My sister: "Two sets of human cremains for a funeral tomorrow."
Dude almost fell out of his chair! He got right on the phone and rattled cages until he knew her bag was on the next plane to Boston. An hour later, we're back at the baggage carousel. She says it's a blue bag. First one out is black, and some kid says "Dad, there's mine, but there's something on it." Next bag out is my sisters, covered in white powder. Yup, the ashes were leaking. We grabbed that bag and got out of there laughing like hyenas!
US National Cemeteries allow a short inscription on the vault cover. We decided to go with this:

None that I've heard but I'm thinking of just getting all the clothes, body curves, wigs etc for the girl I think I could be and saying to my other half one day "stay here, there's something you need to see" and going upstairs, changing and coming down to go "ta-da!" She's always known me as someone who is spontaneous and it might be a light hearted way to introduce her to a very difficult subject.

Mine was boring. One of my friends apparently ripped off her shirt and bra and flashed her parents while they were in the middle of an alt-conservative rant though, after having been on HRT for... quite awhile.

I had a good coming out to my friends in Missouri. They accepted my news as good as any could be expected with my friend Jim telling me that I would have to do better than that to get them to stop loving me. How great is that?
Well, talking about it recently with his wife, it turns out they weren't so sure about my revelation until towards the end.
It seems I came out to them on April 1st... They were waiting for the punch line that never came.
Hugs,
Laurie

Best friend found out by showing up at my home.wife side Dave here thinking it was the neighbor Dave who know I came out of the bedroom to find my friend and his son. We sat down and talked for a hour or so like it was a normal thing to do. That was 10 years ago now still see him from time to time all well.

I came out on instagram without telling my dad first so he found out when everyone else did. I had already told my mom but she was in complete and utter denial so it was my way of not giving them anywhere to hide. Things went really wrong at first because I had to change schools and went into depression after but now looking back at it I honestly would never take it back because it gave my parents the push they needed to move forward.

My method was pretty normal but the situation itself was kinda funny. I came out to my brother just talking to him; this is kinda how it went:
Me: So I need to tell you something.
Brother: OK.
Me: I don't really know how to say it, so I'll just say it.
Brother: *hand on his chest, totally freaking out* OMG ARE YOU OK? ARE YOU SICK?
Me: OMG no I'm fine. I'm transgender.
Brother: Oh. I knew that already.
Me: Really? Did my mom tell you? (I had come out to my mom 3 years ago but then told her to forget about it)
Brother: Yes she told me back then. By the way, I'm so sad...Not about this though, it's about this guy *proceeds to speak for half an hour about his love issues and steals my thunder* Oh but I don't want to make this about me, lets continue talking about you.
It was so hilarious and so typically him...He basically didn't care and took it super normal. I was relieved.
