I have never heard of anyone going to Planned Parenthood for gender issues.
I am assuming that you are going there because of gender issues. If not, may I ask, why are you going to PP?

Planned Parenthood, at least in my neck of the woods on the West Coast, has started offering HRT for trans people and goes out of their way to be VERY accommodating. I recently switched over to them for my estrogen since they were experienced and were willing to prescribe injectible hormones. They are also good for providing general healthcare and for sexual health needs. My experience so far has been very, very positive.

I started there two years ago. Eventually switched to an endocrinologist because I have other health issues that I wanted to make sure were taken into consideration long term.
It's pretty easy. Make the appointment with Kate, read and sign the paperwork, so some blood draws, get your hormones.

They were great, very friendly and helpful. I dont know about NC though but many branches started transgender care over the last year. They go over things with you, you sign some papers and they take your first blood draw to see if there is anything problematic.
