I was wondering if anyone on here can give advice about attaining a more feminine voice via self training, seeing as I plan to start transitioning next year if nothing else I can work on getting a more feminine voice and slimming down my figure before then, as such is there any advice as to how to train my voice to go from masculine to feminine without speech therapy?

I am willing to work with people on voice and it's an open offer to anybody on the forum. I am not a professional but I received some very good training from my therapist who at the time was one of the best in the business and was the therapist to Hollywood. You will only get out of it what you are willing to put into it so you need to make the time commitment. We can work through PM however Skype will give you faster feedback and it's a good deal easer.

My therapist recommended EVA from Kathe Perez. http://exceptionalvoiceapp.com/ it is not free but is not too expensive. You can download from microsoft store. While you are there. Download the app. Da Tuner Pro  It really is a guitar tuner but can be used to monitor your voice. It monitors Pitch, for me F3, and Hertz about 170 and decibels. It is actually quite good. And free. It takes tons of practice. Along with the voice lessons my therapist recommended to watch interviews of someone I admire and would like to emulate and then practice in front of a mirror or record it. This was especially helpful in learning cadence. Watch their facial expression, gestures, body movement, how they smile, hold their hands, cross their legs. It will not happen over night and cannot be accomplished without practice. So like everything else about being Transgender. It takes time. Also YouTube has many instructions for view. Best of all Dena has volunteered her help. T

I heard about EVA but last I saw of it, it was an IPhone app which I don't have as I have Android, also if it's on Microsoft I'd assume that it's a Windows 10 app which wouldn't work for me as I'm still working with Windows 7
