Hi I have a Question My employers benefits under limitations and exclusions says : Any care,service or supply in connection with change in gender I live in Ontario Canada. Does that mean It does Not cover HRT or What does this not fall under human rights I start my benifits May 27 and they will not answer my question yet.

It sounds to me like you may want to purchase a different insurance plan, and not buy into your employer's plan.

I just researched mine and got a similar "no" answer, but I haven't asked anyone yet. Excludes anything for cosmetic benefit except breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Leaves unsaid anything about dysphoria as a medical condition, but I'd guess the answer would still be no.

Update on this is my estradiol and progesterone are covered but the suprefact was not so the doctor had to prescribe spironolactone which was covered so all that for $2 each finally something worked out for me so it was worth going fulltime.
