Hi ladies
I've been reading over the past months and finally decided to jump in once i began HRT
Just started on Premarin.
I am really really excited about the future changes .. No Anti Androgens (blockers) all estrogen.
I'm 33 years old, 5'7 even look younger than my age and slim/average build here and i have no muscle mass whatsoever except for nice legs and buttocks which I am excited to see my butt get nice and bigger haha
only thing for me is having facial hair around neck and face but I am undergoing laser hair removal doing 12 sessions and hopefully with the Premarin overtime body hair and facial hair will grow very slowly.
Would like to hear more comments on any TS that is transitioning without blockers.

It sounds like you are off to a flying start with beginning hormone replacement therapy and hair removal. Well done!
Something to be aware of is that we don't allow discussions of dosages. It's OK to mention what meds you have been prescribed. This is done for for the safety of others, why might try to duplicate the treatment of another member without a doctor's supervision, which may be dangerous depending on their specific body, tolerences, and health conditions.

Hi Michelle! Ooops haha thanks alot and you are absolutely right someone else might autoprescribe themselves which is not a good idea since these meds are to be monitored by a doctor for sure!
and I will definitely check out those links !thanks ;) :)
Cimara thanks girl and well it wasn't my choice. It was prescribed by my doctor so I went along with her decision to not add blockers. She said with the Estrogen regimen, the testoterone will gradually go all the way down to a women's level.

Premarin, conjugated equine estrogens, is pregnant female horse's urine and as such, most of its estrogenic components are difficult to eliminate from the human body. This increases the risks of developing a DVT and a pulmonary embolism which, in some instances, can be fatal. Studies have shown that bio-identical estradiol (Estrace, Progynova, etc.) is unequivocally safer and is less likely to cause troubles. Also, blood tests don't measure the levels of horse estrogens so it's unreliable. For this reason, the vast majority (probably around 95-99% of doctors worldwide) no longer prescribe this estrogen due to greater risks associated with it.
There is also a risk with laser not permanently removing hairs so that years later, hairs regrow and you will have wasted your money and this will cause distress as you will be fulltime. Electrolysis, on the other hand, is a proven method and is permanent in the right hands.
