Hello there,
as i recently started crossdressing quite often, i had to realize more and more that the method of shaving i am doing can't be the right way to go. I usually shave while showering, which sadly often leaves my skin with razor burns, espacially the sensitive places like intime regions. Besides that there are almost everytime a lot of stubbles left, espacially on my butt, which gets really annoying, as i can't seem to get rid of them.
A few facts about me, in case that's of importance. I'm about 185cm tall, i wigh around 110kg and am therefore chubby. I shave everywhere, everywhere with the same method, except my face, as i do that one in front of the mirror, with shaving foam.
I'd also be okay with waxing, but if i go to a waxing studio, that costs a lot and i dont really have the money to do that, and i know wayy too less about waxing to know what good for imtime regions and such that i'd call it too dangerous to do it myself. If you got any tipps on waxing though, be free to leave them as well :)
Thanks for the answers in advance c:

Hi Emilia,
Welcome to the site.
I am not an expert on shaving but when I do I use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream or foam. Then I either use a single, double sided safety razor or a multi-blade razor made for women. Rinse after every 2-3 passes. Then you might go over it again.
I actually use an epilator more of the time. Painful but between HRT and that, I don't have to do it anywhere near as often. One gets used to it in most places after a few times.
I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment:
Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.
With warmth,
Joanna

Actually waxing can be quite cheap if you do it yourself. Three ingredients are necessary to make the wax. sugar, lemon juice and water. Here is a YouTube video lesson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-DWznU_Ht0 , As with all new ideas, practice makes perfect.

I too use an epilator. I use it for my legs, arms, underarms, butt and belly. I can't stand the pain around my breasts though. One of the things you should do is exfoliate when showering. It helps reduces the redness and bumps. I use the typical nylon ball you can find at the grocery store for about $1.00. I use Neutrogena Clear body wash, it has Salicylic Acid and that helps clears the skin. Since I started using that I have little to no bumps and redness. Maybe one day I can get used to using an epilator on my breasts but right not it's just a little too painful.

When shaving, you need something to lube the process. I use bar soap but shaving foam is far better. A few people on the forum claim coconut oil works even better and it only takes a small amount to do the job. You use foam on your face for a better shave and the same applies to the rest of your body.

One more thing is important; use a new razor. A high quality razor is much sharper and more comfortable to shave with than a month old razor. Also, there is very little justification for using a razor with more than 3 blades in it. More blades are just too close together and clog easily. I can remember the old days when we used razors with just one blade. They did the job just as well.

mmh, thanks for the tip. But i already use disposable razors that i change every 2-3 weeks. Because getting a new non-disposable Razor every 3 Months seems a bit expensive, espacially for a stundent like me >.>
And about the blades, i use 3 bladed razors. I will try to use all the tipps i've gotten next time i got some time for shaving, thanks c:
