Title: featurs about your body that bother you the most

So I am curious, if you are male to female, what male parts of your body bother you the most. I may be a minority here because mine is not the penis, it is the arms, shoulders, and chest. Breasts are not a big deal to me. I know there is more to being femella (I like the latin root of female better than the English word) than having big boobies. The arms I am concerned about because I don't think surgery or hormone replacement therapy will be able to help with that. Surgery can help feminize the face, so that is not a big deal to me. Hormones can help give me curves and if that doesn't work, surgery can give me a big beautiful ghetto booty. I think one advantage M to F have over genetic femellas is that we have longer legs.
I'm also curious about female to male transgendered people on this question. Many M to F's are anxious to get rid of their penis but I'm not seeing F to M's obsessing over having a penis. Maybe they are but not as expressive about it?

My chest. I think it's just way too big, I don't know if that will ever look natural. Right now, I measure 38" around the bottom of my chest, that puts me at a 42 chest size. :/

I find my male hairline terribly embarassing. It's my most masculine feature at this point. At least in my own eyes anyway.
The genitals will go as soon as I have the money and letters, but they bother me more on a functional and symbolic level than simple appearance. Just seeing them doesn't bother me exactly. But knowing that they're there does.
Mostly everything else is just an annoyance, not a big deal. I wish I had a flat tummy, less knobby knees, more curves to my lower legs, and more cleavage.
Otherwise, I actually kinda like my body. It just needs a few minor tweaks ;)

While not really a male feature, the part that bothers me the most is my ribcage. Most likely thanks to my scoliosis my ribcage has been slightly squished. As such the tip of the ribcage sticked out quite a bit further than it should, giving my chest a semi-exaggerated V shape. One of the sides of my ribcage also sticks out further than the other, giving my overall torso a rather weird shape to it. Me being as skinny as I am makes it relatively obvious, and is why I hate my weight so much.

Yeah, I really don't care about having a penis. Maybe if there were a more viable surgical option for creating one it would be a bigger deal among ftms. As it stands, the best surgical option still isn't a penis per se. One thing is - I think it is the 'stick out' gendered parts that really cause grief for a TS. Ftms bind their breasts, and mtfs tuck. A vagina just isn't very cumbersome.

My flat chest make people take notice of me.
But wearing an A cup is an option to avoid it.
And my height. Some people think I am an extraordinally tall woman, but others think I am a crossdresser. This problem is minimized when I am in the U.S. or European countries.

ohhh, I haven't taken any hormones yet and was hoping that when I did, it would make my butt more shapely. Does it make everyone's butt saggy?

Do you take hormones? I'm concerned about my weight too, not because I don't like overweight people but because male and female bodies arrange the fat deposits differently. I'm hoping once I start my hormone therapy, I will have a skinny waste and shapely hips.

Hmmm...a tough question. I would have to start with the fact my skins burns very very fast due to the amount of antibiotics I take normally since im prone for any kinda infection. I would do anything to get rid of my coffee and chocolate allergies just for one day so I can actually see what people see in them (I have been allergic since birth and have had near death experiences with them both). The fact that I will soon go bald severely bothers me. Other than that I love my body and how it looks/feels.

The bit I hate is the bit below the tummy line under the belly button to the pubic area, when I view myself side on it is such a male profile (of course the appendage doesn't help matters in this area!). My tummy goes out and then in, then straight down, ugh!
A blogger on youtube said that this area swells out in time on hormones with extra fatty deposits to give a more female profile. I hope so.

its not that drastic, not that fast, you ahve to loose the weight, then gain it back in the hips etc.... you dont instantly get a thin waist, yeah its a lot smaller and very obviously a waist, but im more concerned about my weight on my arms, tummy, and thighs, which ALL girls get and is infuiatingly hard to shift ><

Two things really.
Height, if I was just an inch taller I'd be six feet even...at least most tennis shoes get me to six feet so I exaggerate my height to six foot even all the time, shhh. I only mention my height because I was so disapointed that my childhood dream of being six feet tall never happened...I drank my milk and tried but failed.
The other thing is my skin, this actually bothers me THE MOST. My skin is so sensitive. Got marks from stretched skin (horizontal lines on my back from growing tall), chicken pox, cuts, and other discoloring from head to toe. It is just unsightly and I constantly have to deal with it with time and money. Quite annoying!!

Definitely the hair. No really, we both hate it. It's very strong and thick, and seems to have its own will most of the time. We try to do things with it, anything, but it won't work. If you want an idea of how strong it is, then imagine that you walk out of the shower and look in the mirror, only to see that it still won't lie completely down. Heck, the hairdresser we usually go to tends to sigh when she sees us.
Other than that, we're pretty lucky. Very androgynous body, would likely have no problem passing as a woman with a pair of breasts, some make-up and a feminine hairstyle.

It's not a visible feature, but having a sex drive really bothers me. I'm asexual, so it's just there, not directed at anyone. But it feels wrong to have, and...eh...taking care of it makes me feel worse physically and mentally.
Other than that, that stupid itchy facial hair, and to a lesser extent chest hair. I'd like to get rid of those. Leg and arm hair doesn't really bother me.

After FFS I'm less self-conscious about my face but I'd like to change a few things about my body. I'd like to have bigger breasts, one more cup or two. I'm 1.88 (5'11'' in US), would like to be two or three inches shorter. A more proportionate body as far as waist, breast and hip ratios, etc.

Why are some of us hard on ourselves? you are NOT 5'6'', Chris. You can't be. I'd say you are 5'7'' or 5' 7 1/2". I am sure you will find out when they measure you again at the DMV!

I would have liked to be smaller boned. I am big boned, even for a guy. My height doesn't bother me 5'10. My hands, I just wish I could find a ring in the store that was fem enough and not be told we have to special order it and in two weeks they call me and say not possible. I don't know if I pass all right or not, but no one says anything and I go where ever I want and no one gives me a second look. I will take it. I shop in the plus size, but only 1x or 2x.

I DESPISE my body hair. I never really was a fan of it before I realized my situation a bit more, but now I just HATE it. I just wish it would FALL out and then I'd get less acne, it would be more hygienic and comfy. I wouldn't feel so gross all the time.
My genitalia are a concern to me, and its been growing on me more and more lately. Just the more I think about it, what I have and what I eventually might want.
I like my bodys face. I like it and identify with it quite a bit, but I hate the facial hair. It STABS me whenever it grows back, so then I don't want to shave it, and when I do I get a burn all day. If I don't shave it, I look like ->-bleeped-<- cause it doesn't go much further. Like...If I identified with those masculine traits more, I'd like neat and well kempt facial hair. It only grows JUST enough to make me look like a bum. My mom gets on my case about it cause I don't want to irrate my face. Its damned if you do damned if you don't, and I ALWAYS get acne. I have a deep fear of that one part of my body becoming lesser because its the only thing I have left on it that I really like
I have allergies now to wheat and egg and lactose problems. I'd like for once to just have a meal without worries (the natural stuff...Eff the MSG ->-bleeped-<-. It disgusts me now). So I feel energyless and undernourished all the time. I have such a high metabolism, that I'm hungry every 2 hours. I'm also a hypoglieciemic, which gives me even less energy, and I'm suspecting diabetes cause I have to pee alot. Taking sugar and caffeine away, even when my stomach sucks anyway, is almost unbearable. So the, "THIS IS ONLY 70 PERCENT OF MY TRUE POWER" joke actually applies to me. I feel retarded unless the circumstances are JUST right. When they are, I feel good enough to conquer the world. I'm not even joking about that.
I don't mind my bodys shape and size...In fact I like it. I feel less thuglike and more inhuman, which I tend to like more.
I also have fear of hairloss on my head. I feel like its thinner and crappier. Genetics get me again. Crap.
So If I could get a clone with problems worked out, the problems I'd fix would be:
Gastrointestinal balance (hence no allergies again)
Mental Health (more serotonin and happiness without constant sexual activity)
Balanced hormones (so stress wouldn't bone me all the time, and so I'd be less addicted to sexual thoughts and our preprogrammed bull->-bleeped-<- monkey fate)
Bone Density (Yeah...Broke 2 bones...I have minor Osteoporosis cause of a lack of calcium...No milk, bad luck.)
Hair Removal or Hair never developed everywhere
Lots I wish I had, but if I had that and art utensils I'd be happy mortally for a long time. Or at least CLOSE...C'mon Science *shakes fists

Oh, are you an artist?
I'm not, I just play around drawing stuff. But I love art.

Yeah. I'm an artist :). A bit of a newbie from what I've seen lately (I visited MassArt and the Museum School in Boston yesterday) simply cause other peoples work far eclipses mine in many ways, but I work hard when I can. I'm pretty sure I wanna animate considering the ideas that have sucker punched me for years, but that tends to be a problem cause most of my work is anime-influenced. I keep wishing it were 4 years ago before it was so homogenized so I wouldn't get bad rep for animeesce stuff. Its like...You finally get comfy with a style and then...Crap. I question it alot, like everything in life that gets stuck in my head.
But whatever. I heard Picasso said something along the lines of, "Art is made of lies that tell great truth." Or something like that. I guess I can still get ideas out. It'd better work so I don't turn out as stereotypical artist person... ;DThats negative I guess. But it is kinda what I tend to do around these parts.
If you wanna look at some of my stuffs...I suggest deviousxen.deviantart.com (http://deviousxen.deviantart.com) . I might do some "process" related works in spare time on DA too, but who knows what time I'll have?
My primary webcomic is currently down undergoing site repairs.
The only advice I have with your drawing is to keep doing it, and from what I hear...More Observational stuff for educational purposes, but w/e...It probably isn't too bad.

I do have to say though that all of these things can and will be fixed so it makes me a little happier.;)

I have a problem with my entire body. I don't relate to it as being mine. I hate my genitals, since they have helped to destroy my entire life, and shouldn't even be there. I can't stand the hair on my body. It only makes me, especially on arms and legs, look dirty. Face is too masculine. The only things that I do like, to some extent, is that I'm not too overweight, can wear a low cut size 11 jean, and I have a cute ass. The only good thing about my genitals is that being small, I can have a nice smooth line with no ugly bulge just by sliding a panty liner into my panties.

3 things.
The main one is that i dont have a penis.
The second would be my facial structure - too round and just not boney enough to pass
The third would be my height. If only i could be just 2 or 3 more inches taller.

I think the british average is just 1 inch lower than the american one, but there are high regional variations. I think around London, at least the central part I visited a few times, its at least 5 foot 9 in the younger set. In Quebec also, men are shorter than average, and also women obviously, which makes me MUCH taller than the average. As I said, never saw a women taller than me. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I've never seen them and I've lived here 36 years!!

Hmmm, let's see, for me that would be:
1) Face - brow bossing, trachea, jawline, all very masculine
2) Hair - I need a little bit more hair to grow on my crown. It's growing back I'm just afraid it won't be back to normal.
3) Ribcage size - I have a 35" ribcage which seems big on my frame. I have a pretty small frame, 5'6", but I'm kind of built to where I feel thick, if that makes any sense.
I think that's it, I'm ok with the other parts of my body for the most part.

i would have to say my shoulders, facial layout and my hands.
Shoulders are somewhat stocky
My face is very masculine, you can tell even when i have shaved and have make-up on.
i know that the face and possibly the shouulders can be fixed but does anyone know if they can fix my man hands after my transition? they're huge

I only read through the first page of this thread, but I wonder why so few people don't think their face is the main problem. After all, the face is the first thing that people focus on. If my face were more feminine looking, I'd be well on my way. I already have a decent butt, and my hips are sort of feminine looking for a guy. I just don't have $50,000 to change all the things I want (or need?) to change: big-time scalp reduction, brow shave, shortening and feminizing of nose, chin augmentation, oral surgery to align jaws and fix bite, braces and veneers for teeth worn flat from grinding them at night, fix slightly lazy left eye lid, hair transplantation. Shall I go on?

Emmalenne-
I feel very much the same as you, I have never hated my penis therefore, I still have it and enjoy its performance occasionally. Having breasts and a penis has always seemed so natural for me. Right now, I do not like the way my face is sliding because of aging, so I am considering a facelift soon.

I'm desperately unhappy with most of the package! For one thing I don't like being overweight--I'm clinically obese--not because of anxiety about being "fat" (I know lots of big-bodied people I find fabulously beautiful) but because it's all in very "female" places. For instance it is impossible for me to bind--I'm just too big on top. Sometimes I look in the mirror or catch sight of myself in a shop window and I just want to curl up in a little ball and howl. The only things about myself I really like are my broad shoulders and my eyes. Oddly I'm less anxious about "downstairs," it's the visible things which bother me most.

Oh god, I know that feeling. I had to stop binding because of my health. My doc freaked when he saw the binder. Too many health problems, can't have any breathing restriction. So now I have to deal with that 'breast profile' when I catch my side in mirrors. Makes me puke.

My hair is my biggest grief at the moment...I have male balding patterns, started three years ago. I think it might be stress-related, too, but meh. Luckily, I am getting some pills to stall it (and it's even growing a little thicker!) so I hope the HRT will have something to work with if I ever get there.
Other than that...uhm...my nose ^^
And my very visible veins...get tan, girl!
And the hair everywhere but on my head. My beard can almost grow out in a day. I haven't shaved for two days now, and it's quite visible, and I just hate shaving! Ugh!
But other than that...I have a good butt (please, don't make it saggy!), long legs, slim figure, not-too-big hands...when I look in the mirror, it's always the hair that break the image.

i was like, omg because i was certain that i would never pass without hair replacement and/or wig.....i was quite surprised and it definitely boosted my condifence
Aw, that's so nice! That made my night, really, thank you ^-^'
I know confidence has a lot to say, in everything. If you're not confident, your worries will get the better of you, and you will be subject to other people's thoughts. And your own.
It is, of course, my hope, to have shoulder-long hair that I can do whatever I want with. But if I can't have that, why not make the best of what I -can- have?
But thanks, dear.

For one thing my boobs. They are actually quite small, but very pointy and this compared with the rediculously broad rib cage I got from my father (even if ihis is much worse) makes it almost impossible to hide them...
Also my soft facial features and my small hands.
What I really love are the muscles that have begun growing on my arms since I started to work out a couple of months ago because even I haven't time for more than some push-ups now and then the result is great.
(And it was great as my dad noticed them for the first time. He was so taken aback and didn't knew what to say (he is a complete sport freak and always wanted that I did something for my fitness)) ;D
And I can't stand my hair. It's natural color is ugly and I'm uncapable to make it look good. When I tried to act my birth gender and really tried hard I failed, but now when I just want to look it male, I still fail. My brother has perfect hair and he just takes a shower and instead of brushing it puts on his cap and it looks perfect...Life is unfair. LOL

Yeah, I have tiny hands too, really soft and girly. I don't exactly hate them though; even though they're small, I know they're strong and capable enough.
The soft facial features thing I can completely relate to. I have a big chin but a girlish mouth and I've never had so much as a wisp of facial hair to play with. I look like the Pillsbury doughboy. I've been wondering about excercises to maybe tighten and firm my face so that the planes are cleaner. Hopefully when I lose my weight it'll be less of an issue.
ETA: Oh yeah, and my voice! I have this stupid squeaky voice which drives me nuts.

Lucky... Mine isn't a trail, its a highway.
I've waxed it a couple of times, but it just kills. I'm really starting to fear that the only thing thats gonna work is permanent removal eventually.

I'm not too ashamed of my penis too for whatever reason. Definately my wide ribcage and shoulders are what bother me the most. I'm kinda chubby, but I think that looks good on girls, I'm hoping that the hormones will make me a chubby, busty beauty, lol. :)

Hi, Deviousxen,
There is a way to get rid of body hair without doing expensive electrolysis or laser.
I used to shave my entire body and legs every evening for all of the first 6 years of my being full time, "a pain in the neck!!" to be sure. Actually a pain in the tootsie roll, too!. The result being unsightly razor nicks, I looked like a bloody pincushion in different places of my body, especially in the bony areas. I have always loved being on the beach in the summer so can you imagine how that felt for one who prided herself to be reasonably good looking in a bathing suit on the beach.
Anyway it was my mate, Wing Walker, who came to the rescue on how to get rid of the body hair: an *epilator.* Well, I used that epilator faithfully at the beginning every evening until just a few months ago. Now I only need to epilate once every ten days and even the the hairs that still grow back in are very light.
As for the face I am afraid the only way to get rid of it is electrolysis or laser. There is a cream that comes in a tube that is called *Vaniqa.* Vaniqa does not get rid of the facial hair permanently, but will greatly reduce the coarseness and growth time of the hairs. The end product will be that any hair that are still growing on your face, will be mostly a few stragglers under the jaw bone. The result will be the rest of the face will turn out to be much lighter hairs, much more like peach fuzz than actual hairs. It is available in the States by prescription only.

I'm 27. I have no hair. It's not receding. It receded.
Cry cry cry.
Move on. ^_^
Actually, it never bothered me when I was trying hard to fit in as a guy. I mean I didn't look like I wanted to, so it didn't really matter. Now I think it's my biggest obstacle.
Plus the lack of hair really makes the slope of my forehead more prominent.
Also, although it's not really a feature. My face flushes red at any sign of physical exhaustion or any type of embarrassment. I don't think it's attractive on anyone. *lol*

I have an epilator. Its a water proof one, which is a plus, but I'm still sneaking around my family and I can only do it so much. Not to mention how much noise it makes and that it only lasts a half hour for full power. I usually put on music and do most of it when the bath is actually filling up. My hairs are kind of too long to do it in some places so I'm probably going to shave them before I go back and epilate them so its more smooth, rather than patches of hair gone in random, stupid places.
That facial cream sounds good... I might try to find it. I need to send a money order to a con so my artist table is confirmed but once I actually get money again I might order it. Its so freakin' annoying, I'm gonna be so much happier when I don't have to deal with it as much. At least the anti-androgens make them gross significantly less. Thats a plus. Once they are all the same good length, epilating won't hurt as much and I can just get it done finally. I haven't had a completely smooth self without stubble for years, and I miss it...

Hi Deviousxen, Yes at first it's going yo be "ouch, ouch, ouch." ;D but so worthy after some time doing. I would suggest that you shave your entire body at first and let all the hairs grow back to epilator length. At first after doing it every night it will appear that there is as much hair still left than before you started but after few moths of epilating you will find a difference especially after you start taking estrogen. The estrogen alone will not diminish body hair growth but in combination with the epilator the body hairs will diminish to the point you will only need to epilate every ten days, And yes the Vaniqa works very well at making the whiskers thinner as well as diminishing your facial hair growth.

This is such good news for me as I can have neither electrolysis NOR laser because of medical reasons (PM me anyone who wants further details of the medical issue or is just curious).
I've thought about an epilator for some time, but now I must have one! And I'll be googling for Vaniqa any minute now.
Thanks dear,

And of course all very affordable, an epilator costs about $50.00 and a tube of Vaniqa is about $65.00 and two tubes for about $130.00 One tube is good for a month.

Now what annoys me the most is the hair completely between the legs. Getting an epilator in there is gonna be impossible!!! D:
So I'm like... Mostly done with my legs for once, and now I just need to get that part and epilate it to hell.
This is gonna freakin' suck :(

I shave that part but if you are not careful when you shave down there could get some pretty good nicks. (((Ouch!))) If you are getting surgery in Montreal they will remove what hair they need to get off. Other then that I just use to shave at the bikini line.

my least favorite part of my face would be my forehead, its more flatter like a more masculine forehead instead of round like a feminine forehead. at least my hairline is nice & round tho. i just cut bangs low & straight across or side swept though, bangs seemed like a much easier, painless & inexpensive alternative to skull reconstruction surgery
& for body i overall like it, but if i had to pick the most masculine trait is probably my feet look kind of big in comparison to the rest of my body lol, plus i love cute shoes which i guess draws attention to them :P overall i wouldnt say i hate them tho

I can vouch for the Braun with the revolving "tweezers" .... used to work a treat on my legs. Way too painful for chest hair !
Stopped using it when I transitioned as I wanted to let hair grow out to be lasered. Only got round to laser clearing my arms, but after four years of HRT most my hair has gone (!), chest and abdomen totally clear, leg hair really fine and feminine .... about the same as most women of my age.
My worst feature ....
Without a doubt my huge "Dumbo" ears :(
If they were small and cute I'd have my hair tied back all the time, as I have a good face.

Hi Laura Eva B
That is about the way it worked for me, HRT got rid of most of my body hair after time along with some help from the epilator. It certainly feels nice not having a fur coat under my clothes anymore. I also wanted to mention that you look really good hon, I mean it. You have certainly got some wonderful results from HRT and whatever else you may have used. I used Mary Kay products for a lot of years which is good in keeping the skin smooth. I don't look my age, here is a recent photo of me. Some think I am still in my early fifties and some in my late forties.

Hi Princess honey I really wish I knew what to say that would be of any help to you. For as long as you are under the care and supervision of your parents, unfortunately they pretty well rule over what you feel are your needs and wants and they will make the final decisions. Until such a time you are no longer under their care. All I can see as to what you can do for now is to show them how much you are hurting from this (GID) and that your need to speak to a professional therapist, in their presents if need be for the first couple sessions.

My belly its not too bad and
my hairy chest means I'm unable to look in mirror without shirt on without being disgusted by what i see.
which is strange because my beard is the only thing i like about my body.
will hormones effect body/facial hair?

Hi Kikly Estrogen will thin out body hair to a greater degree after a couple of years or so but then I gritted my teeth and used the epilator to finish the job on the arm and body. It does hurt at first but as you get used to it and the hairs begin to thin down you will only feel a slight plucking. It's well worth it.
As for facial hair I really don't know of anything else besides electrolysis or laser. Or use Vaniqa. It comes a cream in tubes.
Thank goodness Susan's back on. Didn't realise how boring it is just sitting around doin nothin. Well Wing Walker and I went to get our nails done and had fun telling jokes then we left there and went to the A&W to have a whistle dog and poutine. "Hee, hee, hee." Sometimes it pays to pretend to be a little girl again.

I think trimming eyebrows, especially in the area between the eyebrow and the eye, will make them look more feminine. I regulary root out fine hairs in the lower part of my eyebrows.

I agree, Barbie. If you have never done it before, have them professionally done. I just did this for the first time last week. It is cheap to do. That way you will know how they are supposed to look, and can keep them that way if you desire. They are so much easier to deal with now, I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

I am hon, from that day 8 years ago when I walked out of my apartment to be full time I had that song Harper Valley PTA in my mind and walked proud. I went to work for my first day as Cindy and not a soul said anything it remained that way for six years when I was retired. Now I work in a woman's shelter her in BC over 100 women go through this shelter everyday.
I always cared for those in need for a good many years then decided twenty years ago well before I was Cindy that I wanted to be social worker. Probably my favorite song when I would think about being a lady.
I got me a good imagination and it has never failed me.

Kristie, I have never done it professionally. I trim my eyebrows 1-3 times per week by myself. It's a kind of pastime to me.
To have them professionally done, should you visit at least once per week? I have a laser hair remover for home use, but never tried for eyebrows.

I don't look my age, here is a recent photo of me. Some think I am still in my early fifties and some in my late forties.
About 2 weeks ago, I met about 100 alumni of my elementary school for the first time in about 30 years. I am in mid 40's. A few looked like 30's or 50's. One friend even looked like 60's: he will have her first grandson hopefully this year. My youngest daughter is just 4 years old, and I think she keeps me looking younger than my friends of the same age. I guess aging speed tends to depend on the situation or the role of people.
I sometimes are afraid of looking too old. I try to massage my face more frequently. I apply skin lotion to my skin every night.
You look beautiful, Cindy.

Don't even think about using a home laser hair remover anywhere close to your eyes. Most have safeguards built in to ensure they cannot operated unless in close contact with the skin, but eyes are far to precious to take any chances.

Don't even think of using it around your eyes. You might get too close and damage yourself. (Remember: If you don't stop it, you will go blind. You must grow your eyebrows at an amazing rate. I can't imagine having anything left to trim if I did mine that often. The girl who did mine suggested I come in once a month. She also wants to dye them, since they are almost clear in color and don't really show up until some color is added. They also suggested looking into the permanent makeup, but I think I'll pass on that one.

My stomach sticks out a little bit. It doesn't stick out a tremendous amount, but still it sticks out. I have bad feet. My pelvis isn't small, but it isn't gigantic either. It gives me a slight hour glass shape, but it could be better. I have a nice butt in terms of having a good amount of fat there, but it is a bit gnarly regardless.
Other than that I have bad brow blossing. So ffs is essential in my case if I ever decided to transition.
There are a few good things I have as well. My arms and hands are very feminine. My legs aren't bad either. I don't think my height is too bad at 5' 8" either.
I wish I knew if I was going to get any worse than this. I'm in my early twenties. So I still have a bit of youth in me. I hope I don't get taller. I also hope that my face doesn't become any worse than it is. :eusa_pray:

For me I would say first my face, secondly my private area well this could be number one depending on my mood, and then my shoulders these are things that times make me insane at times. And two non-trans things that really gets me is loose skin from weight loss and belly fat.

Things that bother me: chest (I'm rather 'well-endowed'), hips/thighs/waist, height (I'm four eleven), and my face (baby fat). I got a couple of binders recently, which are a friggin' godsend when it comes to my chest, and one (if I pull it down all the way and pin it) even minimizes my 'curves'. I'm not toooooo worried about my height--that's what platform shoes are for, and I've got several nice pairs. I scowl a lot to try to look not-femmy. I used to have a big problem with my weight, but once I realized that I've got six extra pounds hanging off my chest, it's not so bad--I'm only 112.5 today, minus chest. I used to avoid eating, but now I justify it by telling myself that growing boys need food. =p
Now, so I'll feel good about myself, here's what I LIKE: my arms (I'm wiry), my feet (the only thing about me which are a respectable size), my hairy legs (fuzz! ^_^), my voice (I can sing most male parts when I'm on top form as well as female parts--I can do every character in Jesus Christ Superstar!), my fashion sense (boyish/androgynous with a touch of awesomeness), and my personality, of course!
So that's me. =]

the receeding hairline as well. there are just way to many to list at this piont. lol
I have also been transitioning for the past 3 yrs. well on hormones anyways lol. I am hoping that I will see more favorable changes to come.!

I'm also curious about female to male transgendered people on this question. Many M to F's are anxious to get rid of their penis but I'm not seeing F to M's obsessing over having a penis. Maybe they are but not as expressive about it?
Yeah, I really don't care about having a penis. Maybe if there were a more viable surgical option for creating one it would be a bigger deal among ftms. As it stands, the best surgical option still isn't a penis per se. One thing is - I think it is the 'stick out' gendered parts that really cause grief for a TS. Ftms bind their breasts, and mtfs tuck. A vagina just isn't very cumbersome.
That is, if you're a man who cannot adjust to having a "hole." I don't think I ever will. It's a hole and it bleeds. My brain tends to think of it as some sort of wound. My doctors say I'm perfectly healthy down there and yet I feel physical pain on a regular basis.
And yeah, this thread was for MtFs, but I'll give my two-cents. Across the board, it's not that I don't like "A" feature or "B" feature, but rather, I dislike that I look so female, and I wish to pass. I think T will take care of most of that problem. I am not happy with my arms/chest, so I started working out more. I've already noticed changes in density (my arm's harder, but not bigger). My boobs certainly bug me but they aren't awfully big. I can pass with a tank top underneath and it actually kind of passes off as muscle. If I catch my arms up to it, then it'll certainly look like it's in place. My lower region causes me the most pain, but that really is all that is irritating about it. I cannot be intimate in the way I prefer to, so that leaves a lot of emotional scarring for me. I honestly do feel like less of a man for not having a penis, because to most people, that would mean I'm not one at all. Also, I know that men with micropenises have the same problem, so I am not alone in this feeling. It is not because I am insecure with my gender identity; I'm not. I just feel this way because any man with small/none would feel some sort of inadequacy until he had some therapy to treat those feelings.
In a perfect world I'd be 6' tall, but that's 9 inches to go. So I'm not "aspiring" towards that. I don't tell myself I want it because I'll never have it. I have to accept my height.
Really wish I could have tapped into my dad's genetics. He's 5'11" and he told me a story about how he was well hung in high school and was teased because the buff guys with tiny penises were pretty envious. If I was born male, I had good genetics in line. Tall, thin, well hung, proper distribution of hormones (meaning I'd have no trouble looking male or growing a beard)... It just sucks that I got the other half.
As for a question earlier, I really want to have a penis, but not a fake one that is a bag of skin or one made of female parts... I know it's scientifically possible to have a transplant, simply not plausible. It's very difficult for me, because I want to be natural and I want things to work. I'm not asking for perfection or outrageous size. I want to be average... heck, I could even stand being below average in the size department.
Quote from: zombiesarepeaceful on April 18, 2008, 12:06:29 AMBig lips are not non-male. Some of my favorite actors have some pretty full lips, and it looks good on them, I think.
Besides my body as a whole? Honestly I'd do away with the whole damn thing...my chest and lack of male genitalia bothers me the most. And my huge nonmale lips.

What I am disappointed about me, well it's not the fat distribution, it made it's rounds where it should go, but I wish it hadn't been so generous on the tummy. I guess If I had a genie in a bottle all I would be wishing for is to be at least 30 years younger.
Hi Tsamantha don't worry to much after three years on hormones you will still have more changes for at least another 3 years, depending on your age and how your body reacts to the estrogen. I was still growing breast tissue after 6 years.

I'm not advocating the use of any specific substance so with a bit of reluctance, I'll leave that a mystery so as to protect both some of you and my privelage here. But I take these because they make the thing that grows in my sleep shrivel up rilly small and it's neighbor shrink to the size of a large key lime. It's wonderful in comparison to when thier not coerced by the chemical. In addition to that but more tantilizing in a compulsive aspect, my hands meet the path of my eyes a zillion times daily. I don't know what my crazy ass is thinkin', that maybe the next time I look down at them they'll be of smaller guage? It's rilly aganizing. I hate my forearms. Yeah, u guessed it, way too effin' big. and the final thing, but certainly one of the bigger restriction laden if ever I were blessed with the chance to follow through with transition, is my guesswhatAmieyou'dneverlookgoodinarevealingtop shoulders. These shoulda went on the kid that rilly wanted to play high school football, wrestle, or what the hell ever. Aside from that, I think I'd have an adorable girly face; you hafta practically be dentist close to see my hyoid bone; my butt is prepassible, and my legs look rilly nice in hose or tights. I think I'll stop there. Thats about as possitive as it gets on my bod, I'm afraid.

My face. I look like a cave man. I have a wonderful small boned body, 5' 6' 120lbs. FFS will be my first step.

Hi amie,
After your "guesswhatAmieyou'dneverlookgoodinarevealingtop shoulders"
comment, I have to say that this is one of the most common give-aways for
those of us trying so hard to pass.
If you are tall like me or have done a lot of upper body toning, then it's even
worse, as the tendancy to cower-down and lean forward makes us "round" our
shoulders, which then makes them look even broader (like the Incredible Hulk) :icon_workout:
..but I got some great advice from my deportment tutor; she said~
.."Chrissty, no more BS!... if you really want to narrow those shoulders of yours,
Just imagine you're in the Army...
...chest forward, shoulders back, and hold your head high !....
..and it works! ... (after more than a few apologies to the Army)...
So save that revealing top of your's, you're gonna need it....
... OK... End of my B**S**t! for the day..
..and apologies for going little off-topic..

Well its interesting reading the replies to this thread, alot of different answers!! I wish I was taller. I changed my weight issue, though I still have a set of D's. But what is funny about that for me is I have always viewed them as muscles. I guess that's a little out there, it's just help me cope with em I guess. I work hard at keeping fit, so I esteem my body, and lucky for me I am muscular in struture, so I have never questioned my masculinity. I will say it, I want a penis. I always have. That has been a struggle for me, not to be able to relate/ express myself to women that way, but that is for another board, I'm aware of that, so I won't continue down that road. When it comes right down to it, I am learning it my job to make it all happen, for that I am responsible, but above all else; I have been blessed with solid good health.
