Title: Hormones
Post by: TooLegitToQuit on June 14, 2017, 09:51:35 AM
So recently my girlfriends doctor up and vanished here in Denver Like just out of the blue left a bunch of transgender without a doctor and so she has got an appointment at Planned Parenthood but the problem is she is almost out of Estradiol tablets and doesn't have enough to make it to the appointment. I was curious if anyone knows if or how to go about at least getting enough to last till her appointment. It's really stressing her and I can't stand to see it and just want to help.

Thank you

You might try contacting the Gender Identity Center in Denver or Out Boulder County in either Longmont or Boulder. Good luck

Welcome to Susan's Place. Going without HRT isn't the end of the world and while development may stop it's unlikely she will see any masculine development. I had to quit before surgery and it didn't cause any harm. Depending on your girlfriends surgical schedule, she may have to stop hormones several times. Normally it's a requirement of the major surgeries like FFS and GCS but other procedures may also have that requirement.

Sometimes your pharmacy will extend you a few extra tablets is you have an appointment for a new prescription.

This does NOT apply to Controlled Drugs.
