Title: working with people who talk about work...outside of work
Post by: MissKairi on June 19, 2017, 01:41:40 PM
I travel around the country working in various shops, refitting them.
its far from an important job.
due to the travelling we dont go home after work but stay in hotels close to the area.

this means we are with work colleagues 24/7

yet after work all they want to talk about is work.
work I just spent the shift doing with tge.

arggghhh be quiet!! lol

I can't really contribute to this one really well.....I met my best friend at work and we talk about work all the time...At lunch, after work, on the weekends....etc. Mostly venting about the stupid customers or something really weird that's been going on. I also see her every day at work and then we hang out on the weekends too......We have chosen the life of no escape.

In my line of work it's a given.  We talk about to vent, gripe, complain and see who had the worse day or shift.  Plus it's a bit of group therapy.

I got used to my husband talking about work when he gets home. What I cannot stand, is when he talks about work at family gatherings or to strangers at the store. It consumes him. I wonder what he talks about at work.  :-\

haha sorry gals my bad. when I say talking about work I dont mean having a good old moan as I work in retail and would lose my mind without moaning!
I mean someone telling me that they worked some beans today and after that they went on the tills.

I try to change the subject to something else but it alwats reverts to that.
