I was wondering if only taking anti androgens helps your mood. Im considering this as a temporary solution. Does it cause alot of physical changes and does it help with dysphoria at all? If it dosent then does it alter your mood at all?

Well Erica, i would surely advise against doing this. The body has to have some kind of sexual hormones wether t or e he doesn t care (you transgeneder brain does). Being without t or e is to sayr the least a nerve wracking situation. I have experienced it and it is not very pleasant : tiredness, blakc to suicidal thougts etc.
A balanced low dose HRT is the best way : will kill your disphoria if this is waht u have and will give you some time to deal with al the aspects of being transgender
I send you all my love Sophie

Sex hormones are important for keeping the bone healthy (density) so it is not recommended to use anti-androgen monotherapy. However, if you would like to keep this regimen you may want to consider taking VitD 400 IU and Calcium 600 mg twice daily (It's important not to take 1200mg calcium and 800 IU vitD all at once since the body can only absorb a certain amount of calcium at a period of time)
