Title: 9 months Post VFS
Post by: Miss Lux on July 02, 2017, 09:04:43 PM
I am 9 months post VFS with Dr. haben. I am really really happy with the results. My voice hoarseness is gone and the volume is back, though my throat gets dry and tired faster than pre-op and it is harder to sing but it is worth it and I'll do it all ver again if I have to. Life changng as SRS. Attached is my pre-op voice without placement and 9 months post-op.

At first I thought there must be a mistake here as I couldn't seem to find the pre-op recordings on that Dropbox folder then I realized that the one I first opened was that one. Your voice was great before the surgery and now it's even better, it must feel fantastic.

You already had the feminine speech patterns down before surgery and the improvement in pitch moved you well into the feminine range. The voice is very good however there is one little detail that would help. There are a few points in the recording where your voice stays at the same pitch for an extended period of time. Without correcting them, your voice would still clearly gender female but fixing the flat spots would make it sound better.
