Hello I just recently went back to my doctor for some more lab-work. The last time my Total Testosterone was tested it was in level decent at 20ng/dl. This time she wanted to run another Total T test but and in addition run a Free Testosterone test , I don't mind the slow progress but yeah I should be a little farther along than I am. Has anyone ever had situation like that? I went to her this past Monday and will not hear back probably until next week because she just went on vacation. That is why I ask I just wanted to get some other opinions.

If your Total T is low, your free T will be low too, usually more so because SHBG increases on estrogen, to a greater degree when taken orally or if large doses are taken non-orally.

That is what I was thinking. It really doesn't make sense the the other way around.
