Title: Am I wasting my time with Rogaine on my brow?

I've had some receding hairline issues in the past, and now that I'm on HRT, I'd like to reverse that. Does Rogaine only work on the crown area?

It is effective for all male pattern baldness. This includes, brow, side, top. Once you start hrt and using fenistacide and your T levels are insignificant then you need not use Rogaine. However, HRT and Rogaine can only regrow hair where there is still fluffy thin hair, if its shiny and hairless it will not help.

It's marketed for use just in the vertex area of the crown but anecdotal evidence shows that it works around the entire crown (and.basically anywhere that sees consistent use) I think the reason they say it doesn't is because the hairline & corners are the first to start thinking so the chances of recovery are probably least likely in those areas. I'm not sure if it's from Finasteride, hrt, or beginning to use minoxidil on the hairline & corners, but I'm definitely seeing regrowth happening. The way I see it, it costs me $50 for a year of minoxidil from Amazon, it's a small price to pay to encourage more growth.

When I did some research on minoxidil, I read somewhere that when Rogaine submitted it for FDA approval, it was only tested and certified for hair regrowth on the crown and as a result, they can only promote its use for that purpose. Anecdotally, I did read success stories with regrowth in other areas with the limitations that warlockmaker noted.
