Hello Everyone,
I was wondering has anyone experienced a week or so after surgery burning sensation/tingling that shots through the upper part of your body? I have been experiencing that since last night and I am 2 weeks and 3 days post op. I was told it is from the nerves healing and the muscles that got overstretched since the implant was put behind the muscle in the breast. I was around a AA to AAA Cup size and went up to a high end C cup. Also I only now have light discomfort, and pressure in one breast which is my left one. My right one I no longer have. If anyone can share there recovery and what they went through that would help me out a lot. I had my follow up visit yesterday and things looked fine the surgeon said, plus I start breast messaging yesterday for the first time.
Thanks,
Sfora

I haven't had a BA but the sensation you are feeling is nerves reconnecting. After GCS, I had spots that needed to be itched but they weren't there anymore. That can go on as much as a year after surgery however it will get less with time. Others have described it as being stuck with pins or electrical shocks.

The itching was around the surgical site. As for a warm feeling, I couldn't tell you because post surgical was the first time in my life I was free of T and you get hot flashes if your source of E or T is cut off. Combine that with the fact it was the start of summer there and the air conditioner wasn't running for a few days.

After GCS I am going crazy with hot flashes. Are you saying that could be caused by T loss, Dena?

Because I didn't have blockers and was off estrogen for weeks before surgery, I was back to normal T levels before surgery. After surgery I had hot flashes until I was allowed to go back on estrogen. When I went off estrogen around 11 years ago, I had hot flashes for over a year while my body again got used to not having any sex hormones around. I don't intend to go through that again so they can pry my estrogen bottle out of my cold dead hand. ;D
