Susan's Place Transgender Resources

So, as the title stated, life has continued to go on for me.  For those that don't know the full back story on what I have been through the past couple months, you can always look back at my PREVIOUS topic.

Anyway, so first I'll go with an update. 

I tried to date another Trans girl but it didn't work out.  I left Las Vegas and went to California for her but this was before the recent melt down.

I now live in Nebraska.  I always told myself that I would never return to the mid west or the bible belt but here I am.  I started to date a wonderful cis girl and things are going well in that area.

I got very lucky when I started applying for jobs.  I landed one very quickly.  Even went to the interview as my true self.  I had never done that before. 

I am still in the process of setting up my medical care.  I saw my primary care doc, psych doc, and therapist this week.  I am having to still wait on my referral for Endo and Pain Clinic.

Since I am considered homeless, the VA is also helping me find a place to live.  I hope to have my new apartment soon.

I am slowly rebuilding my life and becoming functional again.

Just keep pushing forward and things will keep getting better and kudos to you for going to your interview as you true self
