My name is Shelley I'm 61 MToF!
Life is a journey that we take packed with breakdowns and excitement! I have had enough with the war inside! I first felt like I was in the wrong body at 6-8 years old! I conformed, I played the part of a man at my own personal suffering! Three grown children! Three wife's. The third I'm still with but she may not for the long run. That's ok, if she choosers to leave it was never meant to be!
I'm going on a trip in life, a maybe 9 year one to be the women I see in my minds eye!
I'm taking herbs to transition A breasts 145 lb 5'10" wm!
About 8 years ago I started wearing female seven for humanity jeans! 90 percent of the time! Love how they feel and I'm not going back!
I have been depressed my hole life dressing then cycling through life buying and getting rid of female clothing! At this stage in my life I'm going to transition to a female! I'm hoping all the way but if not as close as I can! I love life but at certain point in my life I was very unhappy, to the point I would go outside in the evening to watch the sunset to count how many pretty colors I could find!
At this point the war in my head is not as brutal on me because the male is on his way out! That said let me say the male side has some point that I will always admire! I think a woman can do just as much as a man!
I'm here at Susan's place for advice and to be around you all on how you handle the dysfunctional world we live in! Love, kindness and forgiveness are my virtues!
I'm not overly intelligent, I'm not overly pretty but I'm me myself and I! I'm going to be the best I can today and tomorrow!

Hi Shelley,
I am so glad you chose to tell us your name. Shelley is much nicer than referring to you as G V.
I'm Laurie, MtF and 64. Though I have talked to you in anther thread I am pleased to welcome you (unofficially) to Susan's Place. ((Hug)) I hope you don't mind virtual hugs. I like then as you can no doubt see. Well, come on in girl. Grab something to drink and a chair to sit on.
Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself. I'm an older trans like yourself and you will find there are quite a few of us late bloomers around. Started later does not mean what we are doing for ourselves is any less rewarding than it is for others. You mentioned dabbling in herbals and I hope you got your money's worth, but a caution, the use of herbals is not endorsed by this site and discussions regarding them is frowned upon. Are you looking into or have gotten a doctor or endo lined up to see about getting on HRT? I started them in December and am pleased with the results I am having. and it isn't just in growing breast, the other benefits are good too. softer skin, calming of the dysphoria and moods, etc. I highly recommend it as getting a gender therapist to help you explore your desires and help you in achieving them.
Again Shelly, welcome to Susan's.
Hugs,
Laurie

Hello Shelley and welcome! And THANK YOU for being a Gold Subscriber. I also donate as this site has very real operating costs and I have already gained so much from being here.
Sounds like you have thought about this quite a bit and you are determined to be who you truly are. Not everyone discovers or allows themselves to do this. I can say from personal experience it feels so great to finally just be yourself. I started my MTF HRT prescription five days ago and - wow. No physical changes of course at this early stage, but the changes to sensory perception and emotions are amazing. I love it.
I looked at some of your prior posts and didn't spot whether you had received the following information. We always provide this information to new members - if you have already received it I apologize. This information helps everything run more smoothly.
A Cautionary Note:
This is a public forum so please remember when posting that The Internet Never Forgets, and the various web crawlers and archival sites out there may retain information that you post.
We cannot ensure that any information you share on the site will be protected from public view and/or copying or reproduction. This warning is also listed in the Terms of Service listed below.
If you give out personal information on Susan's you are responsible for any consequence.
I also want to share some links with you. They include helpful information and the rules that govern the site. It is important for your enjoyment of the site to take a moment to go through them
Shelley, you are intelligent and beautiful. The most important beauty originates from within - everything else is just details.

Thank you so much! My sweetheart is have a horrible time dealing with me. She's very traditional and near 70. I'm trying very hard to confirm that I'm going to continue to be ME through transition!
Thank you. Doctor and gender help after the first of the year! Herbal and non prescription will not be a part of discussion! I'm here for personal reasons, like mind talk and any help I can give my sisters!
I feel a great weight lifted and freeing of my soul telling my sweetheart! It may be good or horrible!
I'm prepared to face the world because for the first time in my life the war in my head is over. I'm happily moving forward one day at a time!

Welcome, Shelley!
You are definitely oozing a positive outlook and determination to allow yourself to be who you really are, no matter what. Good on you! Onwards and upwards!

Welcome Shelley. What herbs are you taking? I'm also looking for natural ways to increase breast size. I have a happy A+ cup, but when I'm ready to increase it, I would prefer not to have surgery.

Quote from: Sinclair on August 02, 2017, 08:42:07 PMWe don't approve of that either as it's a legal liability issue. On the other hand foul language and nudity are fine as long as the public doesn't see it.

It's a personal choice to be your own lab rat! That said having a doctor and having him making sure that you stay healthy is wise and smart!
I'm not that! I use a PH strip that I pee on first thing in the morning and then I check my saliva to gauge that I stay between 4-6 for optimal health! Acidification is a health hazard!
Hope that fit in guidelines of this site!
