Title: Being sick deep gravely voice
Post by: Bari Jo on August 21, 2017, 08:09:56 PM
I'm at Home since I'm sick, and whatever I have did a number on my voice.  It got me depressed, what If it stays this deep?  Nothing will get you clocked faster than a deep voice.  Irrational I know, but damn, GD!  I'm glad I'm in my girly pajamas at least while I get better.  You girls experience this too?

Up until a couple of years ago. My male voice was something like Johnny Cash's voice except I couldn't sing. My trained voice was mid range masculine yet people accepted me and didn't comment on it. Voice surgery has pushed it into the feminine range so the problem can be addressed. If you need it, I am available to help you with a trained voice. I have been learning and working with it starting around 1978 and I learned from the guy who wrote the book on voice therapy.

It will come back.. rest it drink plenty of warm lemon & honey drinks they really help I find and it should recover reasonably quicky.

Mine goes regularly because I do a lot of community radio work where I'm talking for hours at a time and it always comes back.

Rest up and once your over whatever you it should bounce back.

Thanks Dena, I haven't done any vocal training.  I'd love the help.  Let's pick this up after I'm better!
