Well, I've been lurking in this forum for a few years getting advice, so I guess it's time to share my own. :) There's a lot of FFS recommendations here and other places. However, I decided to first look in the southeast US area just in case there was an opportunity to do a few procedures for less cost. While looking, I came across Dr. Carson Huynh (Atlanta Surgical Arts) who specializes in Asian face contouring. After I contacted him, I found out that he does trans ffs and had trained under Caitlyn Jenner's doctor.
So, last December, I took the plunge and got cheek implants, forehead contouring, browline contouring, chin/jaw contouring, and lip injections. His staff was very friendly & pro-LGBT, the experience was "no pressure" when it came to the money aspect, and the experience with working with the doctor was great when it came to determining what I wanted to look like, drastic versus natural, and so forth. I also liked how I didn't have to fly for surgery, and the surgeon was a phonecall/drive away if there were any post-surgery complications (there weren't any complications).
I feel like most trans-specializing doctor's charge a premium for procedures whereas Dr. Huynh's prices were much more in line with what a cis-person would pay for the same procedure. So, by staying local and not having the travel costs and going with a surgeon that offers reasonable (cis? lol) pricing, I saved quite a bit that will go towards my SRS/therapy/electrolysis costs.
Anyways, I'm open to any questions, and if anyone else decides to check Dr. Huynh out, feel free to contact me and I can tell you which hotel I stayed at after surgery, etc.

Hi Avery do you happen to know how long he has been doing FFS surgery and was it Dr. Harrison Lee in Beverly Hill is where Dr. Huynh was trained. I am on a FFS Group on Facebook and this is the first I heard of Dr. Huynh. I need to get my jaw and chin shave down and worry about traveling to another state or country to get FFS since I am also in Atlanta.
Thank you
