Title: If we go along with SB 777 now, what will we 'accommodate' next?

NOTE:  You have to scroll down past my article to find his -- at least I got to go first... -Karen

"Few would agree that obliging these other maladies is reasonable or sane, so why have we gone off the deep end over sexual identity? No matter how Johnny disguises his sexual confusion, even to include hormones and surgery, his DNA will forever identify him as a male and not a female.

It is beyond belief that our state is being led by an infinitesimally small number of disturbed individuals who have successfully excluded their sexual dysfunction from either labeling or treatment; indeed, we must now accommodate and embrace their afflictions or risk prosecution."

Since he is so close to me, I'd love to have a chaperoned visit with him for a couple of hours, so that he may actually meet a flesh-and-blood [insert epithet here].

The other author comes across as seriously deranged in his thinking. You can practically feel his spittle hitting your face while you read that out-of-control hate speech. :icon_twisted: It only highlights the calm reason and common sense in your argument. Great job, Karen.

QuoteIt is beyond belief that our state is being led by an infinitesimally small number of disturbed individuals who have successfully excluded their sexual dysfunction from either labeling or treatment...

Uhm... I thought it was labelled "GID" by the medical profession, and the recognized treatment was transitioning via hormones and surgery?

Quotehis DNA will forever identify him as a male and not a female.

Whenever I read that "logic," I realize the person is lost beyond reach. Let's hope his wife doesn't discover she's an AIS "male." I guess he'd have to FORCE her to have a sex change then since she'd be "forever identified" as an xy male.

I hate being categorized as a sexual deviant.  I am only reminded that "I want wierd sex" when I read trash like this. Sexual proclivity is not necessarily a part of being transgendered. When will we be able to push this point home?  Lifestyle?  Mine is pretty boring and non descript.  I'm just making my way as anyone else.

But it is interesting how we, those who for the most part just want to be invisible to the rest of the world, can elicit such explosive emotions over something as simple as using the toilet.... something we would pefer to do without notice.

Ouch, he has some issues don't he?

However, he is right in fact - sooner or later, we will as a society striving toward freedom and justice for all, have to include everyone.  That is a good thing, so the sooner the better.

While I have no problem being labeled a sexual deviant, though I prefer the term pervert myself, I would hasten to add that at least those terms should be used for things that are sexual in nature and not gender based.  It not the clothes that I wear, not my actions and comportment in them that makes me a pervert, its all about what happens when the clothes come off.  But why confuse the poor dear?

And if you really want to meet him Karen I hear him and a bunch of people who think like him have public meetings under the guise of being the republican political party.

"Sexual confusion, male DNA, disturbed individuals, sexual dysfunction" - these are all radical religious right buzzwords.  There's no doubt where this person has gotten their lessons.

I hope the general readership will notice the difference between his rhetoric and Karen's.
