Title: Possible to shrink penis/testicles?

I have tried to heat my testicles up really hard but now they hurt... wish I could cut them off but I can't afford the surgery just yet.
In the mean time how can I lose penis/testicle size without taking something with dangerous side effects?

I understand the desire to lose those parts but please stop harming yourself. Perhaps someone on this site can give you advice about how to get free support in your area.

Really it's just a matter of time. Once your Estrodial levels are high enough, your pituitary will stop triggering your testes to make testosterone. Then over time they will atrophy and shrink. I found this was not the most pleasant process just because it caused me significant testicular pain. My urologist gave me amitrimtalyne an older antidepressant that works to reduce neural pain which appear entry is what testicle pain is. Otherwise there were moments I doubled over like I had been kicked. I recently had a sonogram done just to check on the source of pain. I had one a few years ago also, though I can't remember why they ordered that anymore. Anyway mine are a full cm shorter in length and equally shrunk in girth from before I started HRT.
My urologist also put the diagnostic code on my chart for penile atrophy. I really didn't think it changed but it stays close to my body most of the time.

I would love to believe that girl.
When I was a "man" the damn thing was huge. And it still is.
It is a disaster to tuck. They have not changed atall since being on hormones?? And I'm more that a year.
It never swells up, it's just still huge.
I'm on Androcur, I think maybe it's you Americans and your spiro that is doing the trick no??
Please tell me they will shrivel up? Even fall of maybe?

When I started hrt my Dr told me that spironolactone was the most powerful T blocker and that it was the only blocker I needed. I take a very large dose of spiro, estradiol injections and progesterone. After 2 years all my boy parts shrank. My balls didn't fall off but they shrunk and became less sensitive to pain. We've all accidently bumped them. That isn't painful anymore. The hrt also rewired how things down there work. I described my orgasms in another post because they changed a great deal. My pubic hair got softer and lighter. It was kinky before hrt. I think it just takes time .

justWantitToEnd hasn't said that she is on any hormones or blockers yet. She just said that she heated up her testicles and they hurt, and she wants to know if there is anything safe she can take to shrink her privates. I think that one of the moderators should advise her on what to do next.

Everywhere I read everyone says Androcur is, ( Cyproterone Acetate )
It has way less side effects too.
It is really annoying though, I'm still a horse down ther. Sex is really a turn of and I can't get into it atall

Mary T is right.
Just, Hi and welcome to the site. We have a lot of people here with a great deal of experience.
First I would have to ask, do you know what you want? Not just for them to be gone. Why? What is your goal? Where do you see yourself in a year or 5? How about 15 or more?
I would highly suggest a couple of options. The ladies jumped in and started talking about hormones. They are effective for certain things then have side effects that hurt or help. However before you get to hormones, I think you should talk to a psychologist or therapist. You need to figure out what hurts so much. What you want to be and where you want to go. Then you can talk about proceeding. Do you just want your genitals gone but continue in all other ways? Do you want to partially transition? Do you want to go the whole way.? Do you see yourself as not fully male or female? A therapist can help you figure these things out for yourself without spinning in circles. Once you have that taken care of, then you can move on to more physical things. Surgery, hormones, dressing differently, presenting differently.
I know it all seems so immediate at times. It can't be. It is too much to do right now. I have had times where it was so important that there be a change, I wasn't sure what to do with myself. Small steps. Keep seeing the possibilities as you go along. I still think it all starts from a place of mental health and moving forward in a determined way. It will likely change. That is where learning to roll with punches and become flexible is helpful.
I can't tell you what to do. I know in my experience, I feel kind of similarly. I want that area all different. However, I am taking the steps and trying to see options to see how far I have to go. I still need help and get lost. That is where my therapist and support team steps in. I don't know how good advice I am giving but it is the only type I know. What my experience has told me and having watched other's journeys. In my case, the combination of spiro and estradiol have greatly reduced my testicles. However, my penis has not changed much. I would love to get it all gone. In the long run I know it is easier for surgeons to give me a full transition if it is all still there to work with.
Sorry if that is not help that supports you.

I did some research and it told me that if I applied heat a lot to my testicles it would at least lower testosterone and increase estrogen levels but there is different opinions on stuff about that but I feel it has to be to good to be true.
I would love to start the hormones but I have to wait a year to do that because of life. I think I should just eat and drugs estrogenic foods? What exercises help with losing weight but doesn't increase testosterone? Exercise can be dangerous like that but to look more feminine I have to lose weight but I'm almost there ^-^
Thanks you all so much for the great advice!

The "heat" that you're talking about, is that by any chance hot tub or underwear related? It vaguely rings a bell of sperm count studies from years ago. In which case, that has nothing to do with "size". About the only way to really "shrink" your genitalia that I know of, is not to use it... it is a muscle and it will atrophy some after a while.
And I would caution you on getting too crazy with "shrinking" things. If you have GRS down the road, you're going to want the size for depth of your new "hoohaa". You may also want to be able to sperm bank, and you don't want to inadvertently lose sensitivity in the region unless that's what you're into... additionally there are some major arteries around your groin... please nothing without a doctor's care.

You know what they say about cold. It makes nipples stick out to counteract the shrinking of a Guy's parts. However, trying to freeze those parts could cause serious damage. HRT is the way to go.

Sweetie, I cannot overestimate not to hurt yourself, so please be careful. Also, please be careful on what you read on the internet; there are a lot of pseudo-scientists out there who have not the first clue as to what they claim to be versed in. Do you plan on starting any sort of HRT in the distant o not so distant future under a physician's care?

There is no low risk way achieve what you seek other than HRT. Adding to heat to the testicles will only reduce your sperm count, it wont cause shrinkage.. There are various herbal compounds that claim to do it, none are worth the health risk.

I can definitely confirm that testicles and the penis has shrunk on Androcur. I've been taking it for about 5 months and I lost about 2 inches in length!
My better half is not exactly pleased about the latter fact though ...

I bet a lot of us have just wished they would fall off all on their own. ;)
I have found unless I need to wear something really tight I don't need to tuck much anymore. Just wearing denim jeans and jean shorts none of it really shows. What I've noticed is the testicles stay up a lot closer to my body and get in the way less than early on. I was also told I was like a horse at one time. However I was what you call a grower not a shower as the saying goes. So mine doesn't um, 'hang out' there to far. Also I don't remember the last time I had a full erection. (Neither does my wife, which she is not thrilled about) If I pull on it the length is no different than before but I definately do not see the blood flow there I once did.
My dark stomach hair faded away quickly so now my pubic hair stops with an inverted triangle shape. I'm on spiro but at what I've read is an average start dosage. As for as AA go, I know spiro is really good at blocking androgen receptors in the cells but it does not shut off testosterone production on its own. I also take finasteride so I should have a very small level of DHT in my blood.

- I'm sure many of you can relate but I might be wrong since I don't know very much.
I have never started any hormones yet but I do already look pretty feminine with a baby face/small jaw line/eyebrows/ (in my mid 20's and look 14) so that is at least the reason why I am taking it slow. I just view those parts as a bad tumor that needs to be removed and simply doesn't feel right. I've been taking steps to naturally increase estrogen levels and my depression seems to be going away. Men feel more depression with higher estrogen while I feel happier with higher estrogen so that's a pretty good sign that my brain is feminine. I always liked the way I looked and feel but I'm terrified of sticking out to much.
I always enjoyed female company because I can relate to them and feel more comfortable. If they see you are a man regardless of how masculine or not they think you want sex because if you're not attracted to men then they think that's all you think about(although going through the change would change that for sure) -.- This society over sexualizes everything so much and that's what hurts us I believe.
The best reason for me to change is to start feeling better in public which improves mental health and people will take me more serious than they do now. This will stop me from taking drugs such as adderall because then I can tell my doctor I will not need it.

HRT and time is all you need. Remember if you intend to do GCS/SRS these parts are used for your new sex organ. So chopping them off and harming them is not such a good idea. I've been on HRT over 3 and half years and tucking is not even something I think about a lot....it's just automatic and I don't think about it too much, except for swim suits. I wear dresses at work mostly, but I do come to work and go home in skinny jeans without an issue or worry.
Just my 2 cents and probably something others have already said.

As far as I'm concerned (and also Susan's Place Terms of Service (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=2.0)) HRT is only through a doctor for very good reasons. HRT requires a prescription based on each individual's medical background and lab tests because guessing wrong can cause permanent damage. Grey-market herbs are even riskier as you can't be certain if that stuff is accurately labeled or hasn't been mixed with industrial chemicals. HRT under medical supervision is routine and inexpensive compared to other transgender items (surgery, permanent hair removal for MtF, etc.)
This is why you really should consider finding and visiting a qualified gender therapist. Doing so might help you in many ways - certainly did for me. ;)

I unfortunately have experienced no loss in size anyway after nearly 14 months of HRT.
I mean I don't get erections or anything, it's just still big. :S

Hi,
To the OP justWantitToEnd
I've been on Androcur for 3 months, not a high dose but probably a conceived transition dose, and currently tapering it down as I no longer need at the higher dose with my T levels having fallen through the floor. My experience so far has been relatively good, the only side effects have been moderate bouts of mild depression / feeling low with no motivation etc which last for 3-7 days. Being aware of this can help you though them as you know why you're feeling low (to be fair its still a struggle to rationalize but at least you know why you feel so glum!) and it does pass.
The effects (and for benefit for Rachel_Christina), no change at first but within a couple of weeks, getting physically aroused was difficult, although with persistence things did come back to life. Size wise, when not aroused, I started to look like I'd just got out of an ice bath. But not always, other times it was as though nothing had changed.
The majority of times now it tends to appear much smaller but it think this is due to cardio vascular stuff and due to not as much blood being sent that way, it does still regain full size on the odd occasion so I don't believe there has been any particular tissue shrinkage especially in the short space of time, its behavior though is certainly different.
As far as the two friends below, they do seem smaller but I'mm conscious that this is due to the lack of hormonal trigger to keep them active and as such they are slowly falling asleep.
I hope this is of some help, but as seems the way with us girls, YMMV.
Hugs

Quote from: Kendra on September 07, 2017, 12:57:26 PMThat is so true! Honestly I might have to visit a gender therapist but I don't really try and harm myself down there but I just make it tight and that seems to work like @Josie76 mentioned above. The reason I thought heat would work is because the things have to be cooler to work well so if you keep them warm them it will stop working :) You don't need good testicles for male 2 female surgery so it works for me cuz I never slept with a girl and never plan to even though people though. I like woman as friends and companionship which I learned the short time I had a girlfriend and never had sex enter my mind.... I thought it was weird when some of my male friends were obsessed with it....
Doing so might help you in many ways - certainly did for me. ;)

I have tried to heat my testicles up really hard but now they hurt... wish I could cut them off but I can't afford the surgery just yet.
In the mean time how can I lose penis/testicle size without taking something with dangerous side effects?
I did the same thing years back ago
Heat them with hair dryer , tide them with rope until they become purple I even was planing to cut them off by knife
The pain was very bad but I hate them so much and I just wish I can destroy them and stop them from making the male hormone
Anyway after awhile on androcur Cyproterone Acetate everything change downthere no more erection etc
And I felt the size also shrink
I'm happy that I know this anti androgen
It help me to manage to live with what I have until I can do my srs
Now after years on estrogen and androcur
I had to stop them for few months because of surgery I had but after awhile I felt my parts was getting bigger and my skin getting oily etc I hate it so much but I had to wait for my surgery and recovery to end so I can start my hormones again
Now I return on androcur and I start to feel my parts shrinking again and no more erection
I still happy with the results even tho I really want to get rid of them surgically
So I don't risk having male hormone in my body again
My goal is to get rid of it by srs and finally feel completely comfortable with myself
Hrt really help don't hurt yourself please

I can testify also that Androcur has made a significant impact on the one time magnificently sized penis of mine as well as the testicles in a short period of time. It is a kick ass anti androgen. I was also doing E at the time, as I have had in the past on/off and it wasn't the E. E with spiro not as well as the testes seem to to get larger or drop more for no apparent reason then go back into hiding
