Title: Newbie on board
Post by: Corax on September 15, 2017, 02:13:46 PM
Hello there,

nice to meet you all, I'm Corax, I'm currently twenty-four years of age and am a man.

I've been on testosterone since March of this year, I currently had my appointment with the judge at the district court and after that long arse bureaucratic process my name and gender are finally legally changed and I'm waiting for my surgery appointment [mastectomy and hysterectomy] that won't take place until next year due to the time requirements of the insurance company, but the appointment is already stated.
Hence I am currently thinking a lot about when and more importantly where to get phalloplasty after that and which method might be the best for me and is the least risky one.
I'm thinking back and forth a lot and that's a rather predominant subject on my mind recently.

Overall one could say that I am in a really impatient and restless state of mind at the moment in general, getting frustrated over waiting times, requirements, applications and bureaucracy and not knowing when I'll finally be done with this. I'm also thinking and speculating about my future a lot in more than just the medical aspect.

Unfortunately I don't know any other transfolks to talk to and to exchange some thoughts and experiences with. I sometimes talk to a friend of mine and my parents but that's different as I am mostly explaining to him and my parents as they don't have any clue about all those legal and medical processes and what I am going through at all, so they don't have any solutions or suggestions.

Other than my family and those few friends I still have from before I'm living stealth.

I'd really appreciate finding some new friends here who would be interested in talking to me, exchanging thoughts, experiences and ideas and getting to know each other etc. =)

Best regards
Corax

[Unrelated: I've wanted to add some information to my profile but I couldn't figure out how to do that yet. If someone could tell me I'd very much appreciate that.]

Hi and welcome,  I'm a UK based MTF,  so I don't have much specific to share on the technical details; just that there's a great bunch of people here, and that you're among friends [emoji4]. X

*waves* Hiya!  despite the username, I'm also on the masculine side of the spectrum. Not a lot of advice for you since I'm not as far along in my journey as you are... But just wanted to say, welcome aboard.  Agree with Laurie that your new home will probably be in the FTM forum.  So you'll be seeing me around!
