Title: Getting Pretty Nervous

I have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow and I'm getting really nervous. It's not the first time that I've seen her but the last time was several months ago and last time I got nervous and started questioning myself to the point that convinced myself I was faking it and that if I tried, I could just be content presenting as male and didn't schedule another appointment. Not even a week after though I got hit hard by my dysphoria again and this was the soonest I was able to schedule a new appointment. I'm worried that I might get cold feet again even though I know this is what is best for me. I'm also worried that after what happened last time I may have made things more difficult for myself because now mu therapist might not believe me :(

It's pretty normal to have self doubts so don't beat yourself up over them. Your therapist is a professional and won't judge you. What you're describing she has no doubt experienced with many other clients. Sounds like you're uncertain about how you feel. May I suggest you continue with your sessions with an open mind...... Not necessarily to convince you one way or the other but to let her help you discover your truth.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I suggest you get off the internet tonight and write a letter to your therapist covering what you want to say. If you find yourself unable to say the words tomorrow, give the letter to your therapist. Once your therapist knows what the issue is, they will be able to guide the conversation and help you get over your fear of discussing your problem. Now get to work on that letter.

Thanks for the advice :D it was really helpful. I made a reference document on my phone with all the things I wanted to talk about and it definitely helped me a ton. She understood what I was feeling and, like you said, had experienced it with other clients before.
