Hi Elizabeth.

Welcome to the best site on internet. :)

Cloths can be bought in stores or on internet if you feel uncomfortable in the store. I hate stores, too much people and waiting in line, I buy most of my cloths and shoes on internet, or when it is a sale in the sports outlets....with even more people. Hah

Hello Elizabeth, welcome to Susan's!

When I started transition I thought the most difficult challenges and greatest rewards would be connected to appearance - how other people see me.  And then my point of view changed.

I now believe the foundation of transition is in my mind and all the physical things are just details.  Coming out to family and friends is a huge step, far more important than I had previously realized.  And you have accomplished that.  Also I am glad to hear you're looking for a therapist.

I hope all of your family and friends respond well, but even if they don't - some people need time to accept change and might eventually come around.

Clothing... just like the gender identity spectrum, clothing doesn't have to fit an all-or-nothing binary.  Mix and match what makes you feel more like you.  If someone acts like they are the Fashion Police you should ask to see their license - I'll guarantee they are completely unqualified. ;)
