Title: Does insurance cover srs overseas?

I'm in the US my insurance does cover srs but I was wondering if anyone knows about overseas coverage? I want to go to Thailand for it but not sure if my insurance will only cover for US surgeons? I have heard of overseas coverage but never asked anyone directly. Just to add my surgery is going to be a revision I'm post op but had canal complications so I wanted to go to a different doctor.

Contact your insurance company. Every insurance policy is different. Generally health insurance companies have a list of preferred providers. If your surgeon is not on that list, you may have to pay out of pocket and maybe your insurance company will reimburse you. Get approval from your insurance company before you have surgery.
