Couple face sex assault charges

"NEWTOWN -- A local couple was arrested on sexual assault charges this week for an incident involving a minor under the age of 16.
Police said James Leebaert, 19, of Plumtrees Road, was arrested Dec. 4 and charged with first-degree sexual assault for an incident that occurred in July. During their investigation, police uncovered evidence of another sexual assault, which occurred in late 2005 or early 2006."
