The City of Montreal has officially adopted the "Declaration of Montreal"

"The Organisation Intersex International, an association incorporated
in Quebec with international membership, wishes to thank the elected
officials of the City of Montreal who at the City Council Meeting of
November 26, 2007 officially adopted the "Declaration of Montreal"
which demands that genital surgery on intersex persons be prohibited
unless they are old enough to understand it and consent to it."

Oh, we are so insanely progressive in this province.  :D
It would have been embarassing that the city
not approve of a declaration with its name.

Would to Goddess that we were all living in locales "so insanely progressive!!"

Montreal is definitely a very 'special' place.

Has there been enough snow there yet, Kiera, to bring out the removal equipment? *smile*

Yep, 20 inch of snow in the last week!
Last year in didn't snow till the third week of january!
