Title: Hey everyone!
Post by: hgamad on October 24, 2017, 07:02:45 PM
So, to start, I am not transgender myself nor am I thinking about transitioning however my husband is FTM transgender so I kind of made this account for him but I am his keeper lets be honest  ::)

He never does REALLY extensive homework on things like I like to do so making an account with a forum isn't his thing. However, I like to check multiple links and get plenty of peer to peer feedback. So with that being said I will introduce the both of us! My name is Haylee and I am just the wife. Kyle is my husband who is currently going on 3 years of HRT with T. He JUST recently (beginning of September) had top surgery. We have been married for 2 years and we both live in Murfreesboro, TN. I decided to join this site because every single time I Google anything that he has concerns or issues with, I land here 98% of the time! Which says to me that this place has a lot of active members who have the same if not very similar questions or concerns as he does and its always good to stay connected with others that share the same way of life.  :)

Hello Haylee,
I'm Mary.  I'm sure that you'll find out a lot on Susan's Place.  I think that there is a significant other forum especially for partners of trans people, too.

Welcome to Susan's Place. There is a fair amount of traffic through this site and often it take me 10-12 hours to read and comment on the posts made in a day. Add to that the fact the site has been running for over 10 years and you have a rich resource to call on. Granted the FTM population is much smaller than the MTF population but we have many issues in common so we often answer each others questions.

Over the a days time we have between 400 and 700 member visit the site with around 10 times that many visitors who haven't created an account yet. I don't know if this is the largest transgender web site, but if it isn't, the larger ones must be huge.

Hi hgamad,

I joined up for the same reason -- always seemed to end up here when I Googled anything! I hope your husband's recovery is going well. I just had top surgery myself about three weeks ago. My wife is reaching all the things for me while I have T-rex arms.
