I am guessing you are about 2.5 months post op. You probably should get it checked out as it sounds like there may be a healing issue. Probably granulation/proud flesh which is easy to treat in the office.

At 2 & 1/2 months, you are definitely still in the healing process. How aggressive is you dilation routine?

After you have your doctor make sure that there are no major tares, you might consider using a slightly smaller dilator for a few weeks. Also, a douche to clean up the interior of you vagina is not a bad idea.

Bleeding with dilation increased for me from about 2-4 months, and didn't completely go away until nearly 6 -- I still get a bit of blood product after vigorous sexual play but nothing more than a couple of drops of pinkness, I attribute it to vagianal lining still settling into it's new role.

So definitely chat with your doc / gynecologist but I'd not worry too much. Also I wouldn't worry about douching unless you're still in the window that your surgeon wants you doing that.

I think it may be granulation tissue. Right on the outside (and almost inside) there is a little "scar." It's not always there, but it usually looks a little bloody. I see my surgeon on Jan. 9.

I had not been dilating reguarly until now. I only dilated once or twice a day for awhile becuase of pain, but I did it for 20 to 25 minutes each time, so I figured I still almost reached an hour. I was supposed to dilate four times a day for 15 mins each time.

I did lose depth since the surgery but I am at 4.5 inches. I can get to 5 sometimes. I only care about depth though because I want to have sex. My BF is dying for it and I'm three months and 12 days out. My surgeon--Dr. Rumer--said wait until three months.

Appearance-wise it looks amazing! You would never be able to tell the difference between it and a natal one. It's amzing and my BF is stunned, espceially considering how it looked after surgery: franken-vagina!

BTW, I love Dr. Rumer. She also did a great job on my BA. The best part: it was all paid for mt Medicaid. I would never have been able to afford it. I'm still stunned it actually happened. That a poor girl like me who may be tough and smart, but is incredibly naive and from the badlands--and area in Philadelphia (look it up)--could actually have this. My mom always told me that I need to stop and forget about it. That it is for rich people, not poor Irish immigrants.

But here I am.
