Good evening to everybody, I have been following this site for a year or so, and I hope someone could help me with this matter. I apologize in advance for my english (my mother tongue is italian.)
I am a 27 years old mtf, and I refer myself with the name of Marissa; last april I have had a diagonosis of gender disphoria from my therapist in rome, and in january I am planning to move in London; I wanted to know if someone without a british citizenship could begin HRT in London, and if I would need to get a new evaluation from an english gender therapist; also, what clinics are the most recommended to go? (I have read about GenderCare, but not sure if is the most advised).
Thank you all :)

I don't think you're able to go through the NHS but I can definitely vouch for gendercare. I think I know of a few non-UK transguys who have obtained hormones through gendercare and I started T through Lorimer too, he's a stand-up guy and they've recently expanded gendercare and added new clinicians to help to decrease waiting times. It's definitely the most advised private UK clinic other than YourGP up in Edinburgh, transhealth has closed down and GenderGP has got major problems at the moment and would definitely not recommend going with them as they're not qualified to be administering hormones and Ive heard some pretty awful stories about them.

Hi, Marissa!
Welcome to Susan's. Please feel free to stop by the Introductions forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html) to tell the members about yourself.
I don't know anything about the British NHS, but I did want to link to some information that we like to share with new members. Hopefully others will be able to answer your questions.
