Hey everybody, I'm Asher. I'm ftm, starting hormone replacement tonight! I live in the Midwest, although once I'm done with school I will be moving out to New Mexico. I'm currently in grad school for forensic psychology, hoping to work with the courts on insanity and competency cases. I love animals, I have several of my own. I also enjoy photography and I play guitar, drums, and piano. I'm excited to be a part of this community and look forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Asher, I like the name. My name is Moni and I would like to welcome you here. You sound very talented and seem to be a man with a plan. Good for you. I love animals too. Folks here are very supportive. Hope to see you on the boards. :)

Hi Asher, I'm a MTF from the UK. I'm an animal lover too, but my tenancy stops me from having my own currently [emoji853].
Your study sounds really interesting, I wish you the best of luck with it!

Hi asher! Starting hrt does sound exciting! I wish you luck. I was just wondering however how has your transition been thus far? Have you made any life style changes already, do you have supportive family and friends and whatnot? How long have you been waiting to do hrt?

Quote from: Morticia on December 28, 2017, 04:52:19 PMThank you! Unfortunately my family is not supportive at all. Well, I shouldn't say that, my parents and grandparents are very very opposed to it, as in if I transition, I am no longer welcome to be a part of their lives. My aunts and uncles and cousins are all incredibly supportive which is nice. I haven't been waiting all that long for hormones. Probably four to six months, but I was on the fence about if hormone replacement was right for me or not, it scared me a bit to be honest.
