Hello everyone,
I must say that the information provided as well as links have been a life-saver.
Not only have I learned so much more than I once did, but now feel pretty confident to move on.
If all goes as planned, I should be seeing and receiving my first HRT next Wednesday. I'm both excited as well as nervous over this.

As far as CalDudette goes, for now it's just something until I decide what I'm going to call myself when I talk to myself. I'm originally from California, was born & raised there until 2013 then it was Texas and now Nevada.

Wow, in reviewing my posting and other stats I bounce around this site like a proverbile fart on a skillet :)
Anyway, Friday as I mentioned, I'll be seeing the VA Shrink for a GID diagnosis which will then allow me to obtain meds from them for HRT. My Endo Doctor was kind enough to prescribe the hair medication for me already.
As far as the appointment goes, hopefully, it won't go bad and I feel way more confident than I did back in 2013 when I saw a therapist for GID. By this I mean I was still struggling for my existence.
Having been on the HRT and having obtained it from an outside source and not from the VA, hopefully, will entice the shrink to approve my continuing the treatment with them. That's the best. At the worst, I'm already getting the HRT so if the shrink for some reason decides against it, or wants a lot of visits, I'm still taking the HRT.
On another positive note, I'll be seeing a voice therapist on Saturday. I'm excited about that for sure and hopefully will be able to get rid of deep scary voice. Weird how my voice didn't change until I was 16, lol.

Thank you Jessica! I didn't even thing of that as the avatar has Cassi.
It's hard to believe that I signed up on this site on December 22nd! So much has happened and almost to the point of my head swimming, lol.
What's even more interesting is that the stats reflect I've been on this site for 5 days, wow, I realize it's most like sign on time, lol.
