I just wanted to make a post to commemorate the beginning of my trans journey! I got in contact with a service online that offers certified therapy with a licenced therapist, and as soon as I have the money Feb. 1, I am going to start my gender therapy, and hopefully I can get on my way to HRT!
I have mental health issues, which is why I am seeking therapy, because I want to make sure I'm not exhibiting "Seeking" behaviour, as I do have borderline personality disorder traits (NOT full-blown BPD, just a few minor traits that cause seeking behaviour), as well as depression and anxiety, which is under control.
I also have ADD and APD, so meeting with someone in person and trying to verbally communicate my feelings is near impossible for me, which is why I'm so happy to have found a therapist that will work with me via text!
I can't wait, I'm so excited to start gender therapy!!!

That's really awesome!!! And you have the same name as what I named my computer. She's a beauty. :)
I'm really glad that you found a therapist that is willing to work with you like that. That takes a lot of the pressure off of you having to speak right away and gives you some time to think things through.
I know it's really exciting and scary at the same time. But don't hold back! Just be yourself and everything wil be okay; :)

Thank you all for the kind words of support! I'm not scared, I finally feel like I'm ready for the first time in my life... I am just so excited, I am literally counting the days until I can pay my subscription and start talking with a therapist! eeeee!!
