Hi Everyone!

Today, I decided to do the S.A.G.E. test again.  Yes, I know on-line tests are not perfect by a LONG shot but I am a sucker for them. I did the test back in May 2017 and I wondered if there was any difference as I wanted to really make the effort to give totally honest answers and not try to steer the test in any way so I did it again.

The result below is from May 2017:

Then today's test (11th Jan 2018) 8 months later:
Your Raw score is:  775, which indicates that overall you are Feminine
Your appearance is: Masculine
Your brain processes are mostly that of a Female person.
You appear to socialize in a very feminine manner.
You believe you have serious conflicts about your gender identity.
You indicated you were born Male.
ANALYSIS:
Male to Female Transsexual in doubt about your ability to successfully transition.
NOTES:
           Your Answers indicate your psychological state has likely prevailed since you were quite young.

So, quite a change there in 8 months.  Not sure what to make about that.  I expected the results to be closer to each other.  Has the change been too fast?  Is it a good or bad thing?  I know these things do have to be taken with a pinch of salt and there is no substitute for professional therapy but I thought I'd have a go while I was waiting!

Any opinions on the differences you lovely people?

If you put in the energy to take the SAGE and actually spend the time required to answer all the questions. Then you are DEFINITELY transgender.

Cisgenders don't even think about this stuff.

That's the truth!  :)

I think the first time you took the test, you answered more on how you thought you should answer. And the second time you took it, you tried to look passed all that and answered honestly. That's the problem with these test sometimes is that even when you feel like your being honest, you might be lying to yourself. So the second time around is always more realistic. I'm a test addict. Just reading this makes me want to do the sage again to see what I get. xD

I can see that there are problems with this test.  There were last time I did it, too, probably a couple of years ago.   

Last time, I got: "Male to Female Transsexual in doubt about your ability to successfully transition.",  This time, I got: "Male to Female Transsexual, who is a serious candidate for Gender Reassignment Surgery."  So I guess it's not too far off.

It's a slow night, and I got 640, post op or in transition.

I think that score really is biased against those in STEM fields.

Just for fun i did it again. But I remember what I didn't like so much about this test. Certain answers just aren't there. Like I want to paint my room hot pink, where's that option? And fox is the most adorable choice for an animal. And so much is about being aroused and wanting to change usually means you answer with the word hate. And like you actual physical appearance has nothing to do with where you want to transition, only that it may stop you from going through with it. It's great for people just figuring things out but that's about it.

Still you scored higher than me. One of my friends calls me the glitter princess. Maybe I didn't use enough glitter. xD

I found this to be an interesting test however CLEARLY skewed to old-school stereotypes.

I suppose it's close, it's pretty much what I got the last time I took it but I don't exactly have an androgynous appearance though.

I got 490, androgynous in living and appearance and female in thinking and "a good candidate for srs'. Also "you answers indicate your physiological state has persisted from a young age.

Seems pretty accurate in as far as it goes.

I finally managed to complete the test. Took me an hour! I was honest answering the questions. But there were no surprises in the answer. Maybe the intersexed thing. How do I know if I am intersexed?

I first thought it was an only mtf test. But it wasn't.

I usually find tests like this entertaining, but had serious problems with the multiple choices in this one. I felt many questions to offer only options that did not resonate with me at all, so I just chose the ones that seemed least alien...

I definitely agree that some of the choices were really... stupid. It seems to go primarily off of stereotypes. It was pretty apparent early on that the choices went from masculine to feminine, and in some cases that just made no sense. Like, I drive two cars - a four-door hatchback and a two-door hatchback. I chose "sports car," since there was no choice for economy/subcompact/hatchback/etc. But I don't think that's particularly masculine anyway, even if it was accurate. And then the fact that the most feminine choice was a f'ing minivan.... that's almost offensive, even.

Not to mention, it seems that "socially feminine" just means that you're liberal. Nearly all the social questions were political in nature. It's true that men are more likely to be conservative than women, but I don't think that's relevant to anything.

I drive a 5 door combi, SUV was the closest one. Some of those questions are stupid. People think different and the car...you normally have the car you need. It has nothing to do with gender.

I just spent like 2 hours doing all kinds of silly gender tests and quizzes and I'm was a slightly taken aback by how they universally pronounced me to be of a more feminine mentality. I never thought I was that obvious. And I know they're mostly bunk but it does make me just a wee bit tickled.

I was surprised that I wasn't required to take the MMPT if they still give it.

I know i have taken this a few years ago , do not remember what those results were but here's my results now

This test also needs to be updated with questions that are more revelent to todays standards in my opinion

I've tried this 3 times (it takes forever) and I have NEVER gotten a score. I've done it on my laptop and on my phone. All I get at the end is a screen that explains the terms. Anyone else have this problem? Is it the right url? Is the world trying to tell me something?

Neither here nor there on anything.  I suppose that's what I get for disliking the stereotyped answers in both directions.    :P

OK.  I tried to answer as honestly as possible and came up with a score of 375. Says I'm a little of both and Male to Female and Transsexual Possible. I spent a half hour to get what I already knew, but it was kinda fun.

I found the results very accurate.  I ran out of patience and exited, and didn't get a score.
