Title: Is it possible to ever get Meta without ever going on T?
Post by: KarlMars on January 23, 2018, 08:51:39 PM
I'm afraid of losing my hair and getting extra body hair on T. I want to be a feminine boy.

I think you would really have to contact some surgeons and ask them. Usually I think you'd require some growth down there for them to do meta, but I am not sure. Maybe you'd be big enough without T for them to do it. You could also consider going on T just long enough to get that growth then stopping, or you could consider phallo.

But yeah you'd need to contact the surgeons' offices and find out from them. That's the most accurate answer you'll get.

Thanks. I don't care how small it is. I just want it to be on the outside.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if they would need it to be of a certain length to be able to get it on the outside is all. I was never that interested in meta so I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone who is maybe more certain can come and give more information but I still think your best bet is contacting the surgeons.

I'm pursuing meta but I have no idea if it's possible to get it without bottom growth. It's common that most surgeons require use of T prior to meta, but I'm sure that if a surgeon could do it without you having been on T they should also be able to work with you. I don't know if there is a specific size recommendation for meta or not. I'm quite small down there but that's not an issue for the surgeon who will operate on me. However I'm still significantly bigger there now compared to pre-T. But one thing though, is that having meta is not certain at all it will increase your size or make it show/pop out more although that can certainly be the result. Just something to keep in mind about it.

You think they could do phalloplasty without T?

Yes I think they could do phalloplasty without you being on T, however some surgeons may still have T as requirement for reasons other than surgery results. But I'm kind of sure there are at least some surgeons who wouldn't have any issue with that. Which ones I don't know though, unfortunately.

I suppose they could but that was not an option in my case. The WPATH standards are at least one year on T before phallo. If they haven't changed. And my surgeon required total hysto so yeah. HRT needed.
