Title: How Long Does Insurance Approval Take?

I was just wondering, for you guys who had insurance cover top surgery how long did it take for the approval to come back?
I switched to a new insurance plan which took effect at the beginning of this month. The surgeon I'm going to is in network with them so everything will be covered and her office submitted everything at the beginning of the month too so I would think I'd have heard back from them or the insurance company by now giving me the go ahead to officially schedule my surgery. I'll probably call about it on Monday to ask, I was trying to be patient.
I understand it can take much longer if the surgeon isn't in network and you have to appeal the insurance company's decision not to cover the surgery but that isn't the case here.
