Does anyone use progesterone IM? What is the half life? How often do you inject?
I was thinking about using progesterone IM for T and potential fat enhancement toward the end of my 14 day IM E cycle. So as E is dropping from 50 to 25% I would inject P. The P then at some point would go down and the I would inject E.
P metabolizes to T and t is good for labido. How much T do you get from IM p?

The half life of IM Progesterone is 24 hours (+/- 4 hours). It is true that Progesterone is used to treat low libido in post menopausal women. Progesterone does metabolize to Testosterone, but some of that is further metabolized to Estradiol.
Exact dosing and scheduling is complicated and is best done by an Endocrinologist who is carefully monitoring your blood levels.

Hi Dani, thank you.
I think the 24 hour half life is awesome. The reason is to increase the P and then T. P for fat movement and T for libido. I do not want T hanging around because I do not want DHT and negative effects from that yet I do want the fat transfer and spike in libido. I will pursue this with my doctor.
Thank you.

Due to P's short half-life, I believe doctors inject it daily in women. By the end of 24 hours, levels will have already significantly dropped.
On a high dose of oral P, my T levels did NOT increase. In fact, just the opposite happened and my T levels were the lowest they've ever been. Studies seem to go in the same direction with P supplementation not having an effect on androgen levels.
