Title: Casodex Symptoms

I've been on Casodex (bicalutamide) for 2 months now. Anyways, lately I've been feeling achy and fatigued. I've also been more easily out of breath. Lastly, the tissue below my nipples is so painful--I hugged my friend and I almost fainted from the sharp pinpricks of agony that went through my neo-boobies.
My question is: Is this normal? The fatigue? The achy muscles? The out-of-breathness from even jogging a few feet? The sore titties?
NOTE: I am not on estrogen -- yet.

I think your dosage may be too high and you should talk to your doctor. I had a similar issue.

Agreed! And some "E" would certainly help! fleurgirl I'm no doc but if an excellent "case study" is any indication then standard packaged Casodex is not, as already stated, something that needs to be taken EVERYDAY ??? lol Your not a cancer patient or sex offender are you? But complete chemical castration (better than an "orchi" ) without replacement is not desirable either . . .
Hang In There! I LOVE my feminine "body by Casodex" ;D ;)
(ps: What An Irony most new "impatients" here beg for MORE just ask doc if ok to cut in HALF! )

These are sometimes symptoms of too little E/T or could perhaps be a side-effect of just bicalutamide. They might fade as you start taking some E. Please advise your doctor of this as we aren't qualified to help you or make recommendations but I'm sure you know that the lack of sex hormones over time may be harmful, even short-term, it doesn't feel really good. :(

Yes, that makes sense. I'm hoping to go on E soon, and I'm trying to schedule an earlier appointment. I guess I'll give my doctor a call. Thank you!

I am neither a cancer patient nor a sex offender, lol!! I'm honestly going to try get my endo to prescribe me E, because there's no reason for him not to. I've been on Casodex for a long time now and I already wear 90% female clothing and I'm out to everyone I know. But I guess I'll have to wait and see.
