Pancake day tomorrow ! What do you all eat on yours?

Im a sucker for orange juice and sugar, none of this lemon juice lark though i have been know to have them with chocolate.

Love to show off fliping them but dont think the pan is upto it this year, norm get a new one for it but not this year

We make banana pancakes and of course it's peanut butter on top :)

I'm also partial to a dollop of Nutella

Nothing. I've always liked plain pancakes. I find syrup too sweet.

I just ate mine early. Orange juice and sweetener, then i realised sweetener and pancakes dontwork very well. Orange and sugar and then golden syrup and sugar.

The only reason i ate so many was cus no one else wanted any honest!

Lemon and sugar , might put syrup on one. you have to make your own batter

Lol, maybe so. But I've never liked sweet stuff. And I grew up having pancakes with stew and gravy on them. I guess it was weirder than I thought at the time, haha. They were always savory for me, so that's kinda how I always have them. I couldn't imagine putting anything sweet on them.

Yes! Very much like dumplings. Stew and dumplings was probably one of my favourite foods when I was a kid. Pancakes are like very big, round, flat dumplings lol.

The real maple syrup does taste good.  At least it is natural sugar instead of corn syrup.
That flavored stuff is not the real thing, for sure.

My grandfather's farm in Quebec used to have a zillion maple trees and it was one of my rare, but favorite memories.  That's why maple syrup from up that way is a sacred part of my diet.     My maple addiction is hereditary. 

Maple syrup, but then again why have pancakes when you can have homemade French toast.

urrrggggg, maple this, maple that.

Enough, forget it, I am going to dunk my pancakes into tequila!

Only scratch buttermilk or sourdough pancakes. Sometimes I use part whole wheat or spelt flour. I always add some wild huckleberries.
Gotta cook them in cast iron.

Then I add butter (real butter), a light drizzle of maple syrup, and top with two over-easy, free-range eggs. Sometimes sausage links or bacon.

And ALWAYS accompanied with lots of fresh ground, dark roast coffee.

Pancakes are also my go-to supper when I can't think of what to cook.
