Hey peeps my name is Z. Im still questioning in the sense that i dont quite know how to label myself but at the moment i mostly identify as non-binary trans. Ive come here to hopefully find some people who feel similar to me who can help me figure things out. Ive booked an appontment for april to see an endo specializing in lgbt health because ik i would be more comfortable in a more feminine body. hopefully i can start transitioning right after that.

Hi Zee! Welcome to Susan's Place! I'm Jessica. I identify as non binary, but more on the feminine part of the scale. It can be difficult understanding who you are when there is such a large range of feelings that you can experience when your gender fluid or NB. Susan's has been a great help for me in sorting things out.
I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site.

Hey Jessica thank you for the links. Is there anywhere in particular i should start? For reference i identify somewhat with every gender identity but always leaning more towards the feminine side of things. Im not super girly though and have allot of interests that would be perceived as masculine. skateboarding for one and in general ive always wanted to work with my hands making things.

Hi Zee, welcome to Susan's. Considering what you have shared so far I would recommend you see a therapist that can help you sort out how you feel and where you fall on the gender continuum. Fact is our interests and activities we like don't define ones gender. It really comes down to how you feel about your gender and how you see it. It's very possible you could be non binary and considering that remember you don't have to subscribe to a gender fixed to either ends of the gender binary. I know that can be confusing and often why it takes someone time to sort out what their gender. Take your time and you will eventually find out what is right for you. Anyways start with therapy and yes hormones can help sometimes with your being able to sort this out. The best of luck. I look forward to seeing you around both the forums and chat. Hugs

Hi Z,
I'm Laurie,
I'm glad to see that you have found us. ((Hug)) Welcome to Suasn's Place. The door is open so come on in and be comfortable. To answer your question on where to start with those links I would suggest the Terms of Service and User Agreement as they will let you know what you can and cannot do here. If you run afoul of them you cause me and my cohorts to have to have a talk with you about things we would all prefer not to have to. Once you check those out the Post rankings is probably the next useful link. Also let me point those word up towards the top of our pages. They are links to others helpful information. I suggest the Links and Wiki as the contain a lot of good information.
Okay there's that. I hope you find you like it here and feel comfortable so that you can join right in on the conversations that interest you.
Again Welcome Z.
Hugs,
Laurie

Ive been in therapy for about 3 yrs now granted i havent always focused on my gender issues in therapy. My therapist understands my situation. I tend to describe it to her as being somewhere in the middle but still wanting to transition. Ive already gone through the links jessica has provided but i was asking more about links about non binary genders within the forums mostly but if anyone has something useful to share from outside id appreciate that too :)

Welcome to Susan's Place. I have been looking for additional information on the non binary however most of the time our non binary don't post a great deal on the site. You might look at our WIKI (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Transgender) as it contains general information on the non binary. For what it's worth, we do have a non binary area (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,57.0.html) on the site and I have a few special links that might be of some interest.

I have also learned some from the discussions of others so I can answer some questions but I am binary and my answers are not from personal experience.
