Peas.
Liama beans.
Cilantro. I might as well grate a bar of soap and put that in my food.
Black eyed peas.
Lentils.
Okra. It reminds me of snot.
Licorice.
BBQ sauce.
Miracle whip.
Anything with alcohol in it.

Okra. I did a similar topic a couple years ago, and I was surprised how many people said mayonnaise/sauces/spreads.

I can't handle the smell of yogurt.
I can tolerate it mixed with granola and fruit or frozen.
Straight up and it's gagsville

I honestly hate cilantro and licorice. Even worse, is black olives. If I eat a piece of black olive, I empty the contents of my guts within 30 seconds. I read it's caused by what they use to preserve them.
As for anything I shot and killed, I'll never eat skunk again. No matter how careful you are cleaning it, it will taste like that stuff they spray.

Mash potato
Spaghetti (it's like eating worms)
Deep pan pizza
Cheese sauce
Tinned fish
Store brought mayo

I think I'm pretty easy apart from that.

Chocolate. The smell alone is nauseating. To a lesser extent a lot of sweet things. Ice cream, cakes, biscuits etc.

I'm also really not fond of garlic.

Oysters & most other shellfish, they look like giant bogeys
Snails I can't stand the slimy things, I'm not going to eat one!
Tapioca a hated school desert aka frogspawn

Cheese, cant even stomach the smell of it

Liver cooking, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, organ meats, tuna fish salad, tuna in macaroni or potato salad, egg salad (I love eggs), clam dip, mussels, oysters, clam juice, light beers, skim milk and tofu by itself. Raw fish isn't a go for me either.

Tuna in potato salad????? That's wrong on every level and criminal! I've put crumbled bacon in potato salad but tuna? Yarf! ! 😖😖

Broccoli even more than mayonnaise.
Mayonaisse (so most potato salad is no go)
Pickles
Coconut
Not a fan of seafood but will eat battered and fried fish and shrimp.

Wow, I am shocked.  A big majority of the foods that are listed on this thread are things that I have often and many of them are my favorites. .... and many are ingredients I use in my everyday cooking and baking.

I couldn't believe that even "chocolate" was on one of the posts. 
Note to Sephirah ... please send me any chocolate that you get!!  LOL

About the only foods that I would put on my "do not like" list would be raw sea foods, i.e. raw oysters, sushi, etc, most cooked and/or canned seafood is just fine.

I was surprised by chocolate as well. I totally LOVE chocolate!  And Sushi,  I totally love that too. Yum.

I like everything if it's cooked properly except tongue. Also tuna fish isn't my favorite because I used to eat it bland to lose weight the summer before high school... I was stupid then lol. Being overweight had actually helped me not masculinize as fast, I think? Now I have a stomach to show for it though lol

I've used diced bell peppers to replace the meat. Red, green, yellow, and orange.  Guess now I could call it rainbow pepper lasagna

I spent a lot of time in Asia for work so the list goes: monkey brains, things that are still alive and moving, stinky tofu (considerable different than "Normal" tofu), black eggs for breakfast, shark fin (good tasting but so ethically wrong for me), sea cucumbers aren't great, durian (fruit that tastes ok but stinks to high heaven). The worst that I ever tried but couldn't get into my mouth was a vegetable medley served aboard the aircraft carrier the Enterprise.

Many of you hate similar things...that I love. Mayo is one, cilantro is another, but that's genetic. Pickles and coconut, yum. I like salt, not as much sweet and texture/smell matters.

Lasagna isn't popular in my family (I'm half Italian), but we eat eggplant. Lots of other things too. Dads family was from around Naples. Sunday sauce rocks. Meatballs, sausage and braciole cooked in the sauce. Spaghetti or ziti most of the time. I prefer ziti. I like sausage and ground pork in  lasagna.

For me its liver disgusting on so many levels just thinking about it makes me want to well you get it... Mcdonalds hamburgers are the biggest culprits its all that I can taste in them. Yuck!!!

I agree with you Deborah, Liver can be very strong, tough and not the best thing on your dinner plate...
... BUT if you can find some fresh mild beef Liver, it can be quite tender and tasty if you slice it thin and cook it with onions and bacon... mmm, mmm, good.
I grew up on a cattle ranch/farm, we ate a lot of our home grown beef (liver too) and had good fresh veggies from the garden.

@ chelsea1807:   I agree with about "hating" the foods that you listed EXCEPT Black Olives and Licorice... I love both of those but not together of course.  As a kid, I did what most kids did with pitted olives... they ended up on the tips of my fingers!!!!

@ DawnOday:  When I was first in College I worked at McDoanlds, usually at the Drive Thru... the local franchise owner let all of his employees have a free meal during their shift at break time. 
It was a great college kid job, free food, lots of flexible hours, and a way to meet lots of people.  I always thought that their Fries were the best.

LOL.  My first job was at the McDonald's in North Long Beach.  Minimum wage at the time was $1.25/Hour and I believe the hamburger was 18 cents and fries 15.  Big Macs which just came out were 45 cents and Filet of Fish 35 cents.

I was small myself and worked with a bunch of football players.  About 10 minutes before we closed I'd see what was overstocked as cooked and take some and place the stuff in a cabinet.  After all the football players got done taking what they wanted, they'd offer me what little tidbit was left over and I politely decline.  Then as we left for the night I'd grab my bag and leave.  The stuff I got was for family who liked McD's food.

Actually, it's called Ramaki.  I first had it with wife #1, who was really into Chinese and other Asian food.  She didn't tell me there was chicken liver and it was great - no "Liver" taste and the liver with the water chestnut and bacon wrapped around it was delish.

Their are no strawberries in the stores around where I live.... it's cold and there is still lots of snow on the ground here.  I had a friend from California come to visit me last month and they brought strawberries and fresh oranges from Bakersfield.   Friends bearing gifts like that are always welcome!!!

The key to mushrooms is that yes, they don't taste so great by themselves but they are copiers of other tastes and acquire the characteristics of foods they are cooked with!

There is a french bakery near to where i live and they make the BEST Beef and Mushroom pies you have ever had. (its the best pie you will ever have)  beautifully marinated in red wine, amazing pastry etc etc  to finish I always have a lemon tart with a flat white also ( coffee - not sure what you would call it overseas).  Plus I used to work part time at the french bakery at a different location when I was going through university and I slowly ate my way through all of their pastries, deserts, breads and savories... wow I am soooo off topic its ridiculous.... Hi Jailyn, Did you know tomatoes have a substance in them called Lycopene, which is really good for you, anti-oxidant, cancer preventative and really good for your skin.  Higher levels are found in tomato juice and sauces etc. Google it and you'll see.  Have I convinced you slightly?? lol

Lol. No Im not southern. But the lady next door is and she taught me how to cook southern food. I can make fried chicken, collard greens and even cornbread. Though I have to say I don't like cornbread much. But the first time I made it I had made chili and my dad ended up really liking it with chili so now when I make chili he wants cornbread with it. But okra and black eyed peas are just nasty!!! Sorry " y'all". Lol

After my tour of duty at McDonald's, I worked at a pizza parlor called Shakey's which initially I loved because I loved pizza which after making it continuously tended to dampen my spirits for it, lol.

One of the many toppings were anchovies which I thought were disgusting; salty and yucking and had to wash hands after putting them on pizzas, lol.

I take the duck and put it into my duffel bag and we head back to my place.  One guy was all upset because I said I was going to cook the duck and when we returned to my place I let the duck out of the bag - it was the ugliest duck I had ever seen.  Anyway, one of the guys starts giving it popcorn seeds and the duck eats the popcorn seeds and then flaps his wings all over the place.

In the meanwhile, another friend had come back and somehow ended up in my bed and had crashed.  Finding this out, I took the duck and threw a punch of popcorn seeds on the bed, threw the duck in there and closed the door - the duck automatically went for the popcorn seeds which were all over my friend. 

My friend comes running out of my room yelling about angels and wings.  Once he calmed down, we went back to the room and turned on the light to show him that no angels were after him.

He was not a happy camper.  As for the duck, I ate it - no, not really, I took the duck back to the park.

Again Marine story, but back in the day I met up with some Aussie sailors who hung out in a bar in Long Beach, CA.  I thought it was a trip listening to them talk and really enjoyed it.  Anyway, they all were drinking Fosters and one asked if I wanted to try it.  Prior to then I had never heard of it.

Anyway, I said sure and had a couple and got completely "S*&t-faced" on two cans.  The thing they neglected to tell me was that they had been smuggling it off their ship and it was "Australian Beer" which was 10 or 11 versus the 3.2 that California allowed. 

When I see a can of Fosters it immediately go back to those memories :)

I think what's done with it is that it's dried out and smoked in a pipe in Canada and New Zealand.  Maybe Australia, UK and Nova Scotia too.

Actually, the fermenting causes the fish to continue to break down in the can. 

A working gas mask would be good to be wearing after you open the can.

I think Scottish.

There are a lot of unusual foods.  Some cultures cut up live frogs and fish and octopus and customers eat them while they are alive.  Seems very unkind and gross.

Then there are the bugs people eat.  Also Scorpions, tarantulas, whole fruit bats in soup, and the bird saliva in bird nests.  Plus Kopi luwak, the coffee beans that are are pooped out of civets.

Gross stuff, but some people like some of the above.

People eat odd things.  But, if you were a member of their society and were raised with these "odd" foods, maybe they would not be odd at all, perhaps even a delicacy.

A sheep's head does not sound appealing, for example. 

Leftover animal parts, such as pig's heads and feet, for servants by slaveowners were eaten because they had to eat something they could get ahold of.

From my limited (?) experience, while bacon is a cured-all for pretty much all maladies, tripe acts like a mushroom and sucks up the alcohol. :)

I will give tripe a miss, as a kid growing up in Lancashire in the 60s UCP tripe shops were allover the place. My mate's granny used to love the stuff, her house smelled awful from cooking it!

Hate is a strong word, but I must confess that I will NEVER willingly swallow a piece of meat!  Not red meat, not poultry, not seafood, and nothing in between.

After 33 years, I'm pretty sure the vegetarian thing is not just a phase.

Genealogy on my mother's side has always been pretty much skiddish.  On my father's side, it was believed to be german.  Then out of the blue I received a message from a woman who had traced my dad's mom back to english ancestors.  Mom's side, some native American.  Illionian, etc.

I felt the same way about all livers until I ate the Ramaki and found out chicken livers are better.

LMAO.  I don't recall ever having to eat liver in school but years ago I was invited over a girl who I was dating's house.  Her parents had asked her to ask me if I had any particular food I liked and I said no, anything would okay.

I make liver often. The key to getting rid of that strong liver taste is to soak the liver in milk for a couple of hours before cooking it. And also don't drown it in that nasty cream of mushroom soup. Its also much better if you caramelize the onions instead of just frying them.

Actually  I have on a number of occasions.  When I was still in Texas there was a family restraurant in Baytown or Deer Park called "Kountry Comfort".  They serve a few exotic foods; Elk, Moose, Bear, Alligator.  My son, grandkids and I would go there.  My youngest grandson who's five loved the alligator.  I video taped him one time eating it and the expression on his face was to kill for but then it go back to the 5 year old face and take another bite.

I do not like sushi or raw oysters or shellfish.  Salmon roe sushi or octopus sushi both sound disgusting.

Some people even eat live (small) octopus, seems unwise and potentially dangerous.

Properly prepared, beef tongue may be the best cut of beef on the cow. The flavor is good and it's very tender. The skin on the tongue is removed so it's no different than eating a rump roast.

That's true. I made beef tongue once but I didn't tell my dad or Tyler it was tongue.  They absolutely loved it and told me what a good job I had done on the meat. Lol

I had scorpion and a bag of BBQ crickets. Tbh eating dried shelled inverts is like chewing on dust. I'm not a huge fan of bugs in general so anything more juicy than that is out.

Octopus isn't bad, a bit chewy but good none the less. The legs of bigger ones cut up and cooked with some vegies over rice is good. Baby ones boiled with their legs curled up so that you can eat them in one piece are great with beer when gathering with friends, sort of like chips or pop corn and beer watching a game. My difficulty comes when they are babies but big enough so that you have to bite their heads off, a bit difficult for me, especially for breakfast.

Yeah, only human penis and testicles are going in my mouth. Lol. I've eaten beef heart.  Its good actually. I love liver and onions and beef tongue is very good if its cooked right. Fast drivethru food. The greasiet, under/overcooked food, most is bad for you, but fast,with bad/obnoxious service. Takes me a whole day to cook healthy food, which I have to do again, due to my finances. Fast drivethru food is also more expensive. :(

I forgot about lutefisk. My grandma's best friend is Norwegian and every Christmas she makes a pan of lutefisk for my grandparents.  It's like this nasty Grey fish Jell-O. She soaks cod fillets in lye soda until they turn jellied. It smells like oven cleaner and rank fish! My dad grew up having that abomination at Christmas so he and my grandparents actually like it! Ewww. My brother and I have never needed to taste it to know it's totally disgusting. We did like flinging spoonfuls of it at each other when we were younger. Lol

I have a friend that has made lutefisk before. She tried to get me to try it but I could not get past the smell. I was like "I'm good".   :) I could smell it when I walked in but I didn't want to tell her that it really stinks.  :laugh:

I gave my neighbor some 7-10 months old Dry Monterey Jack Cheese and the wife couldn't stand it because of the smell. The smell isn't really all that strong and I have smelled cheese that smelled far worst. I explained that cheese is a product that taste better the more it smells and finally got a piece past her nose and into her mouth. She like it after all and it was just a matter of her getting her first taste.

I never have enjoyed a Jello salad, but I know that others do.
Just Jello, please.   However I do like Jello with sliced bananas in it.

Sam's club or the drug stores carry a Dairy Enzyme. Your body is no longer producing it but you pop a pill or two when you consume dairy and you can digest it without problems. The inability to process dairy is relatively common in people however people from northern Europe tend to have less problem as much of the traditional diet consisted of dairy.

I use them with...mixed results lets just say...eheh I have just gotten very accustomed to not having much dairy, but I always have a supply on hand.

For me it's Salisbury Steak.  I will not eat it, I will not touch it, I will not eat anything that looks like it.  I don't know why I don't like it.  Lots of people I know do.  My mom used to make it for dinner when I was a kid and I tried it, but always found it disgusting.  When she was a kid she was forced by her parents to eat whatever was for dinner whether she liked it or not.  Because of this my mom never forced me or my siblings to eat what we know we don't like.  She might have forced us to try things before deciding what we like or don't like, but if we truly didn't like a certain food, she wouldn't force us to eat it.  That being the case, whenever she would make Salisbury Steak for dinner she'd have some other dish on the side that she knew I liked.  The rest of the family liked Salisbury Steak, so they would eat that while I'd have something else.  To this day I still won't eat it.  Maybe after all these decades since my last time trying it I might like it now, but I'll never know.  I'm not interested in trying.

She uses lots of milk, cream and butter in it and it's so good. My dad had bought me different brands of canned potato soup but I never liked any of them. When I was about 12 years old my dad decided since I didn't like the canned potato soup he would make me some from scratch. What a tragedy than was! I will never know why he didn't get the recipie from my grandma but he didn't. I guess he figured it was easy enough that he didn't need a recipie. OMG! He boiled a bunch of potatoes, added a can of mixed vegetables and instead of diced ham he put diced spam in it! Then he put half a stick of butter in it. So, here is potatoes and canned mixed vegetables floating around starchy butter water with chunks of spam in it. Ewww doesn't quite cover it!  My dad made that soup just for me and worse he was actually proud of himself. I had to eat it. I didn't have the heart not to eat it and hurt his feelings. Yeah, it was nasty!  My poor dad. He totally can't cook but he did try and he did manage to make stuff for my brother and I growing up even if it wasn't exactly gourmet. Lol

Canned clam chowder.  Bumblebee used to make a great clam chowder that was inexpensive and tasted great.  Then they changed the recipe.  Haven't found another brand worth buying.

Oh it was abysmal. Lol. Almost as bad as refrigerated PBJ sandwiches.  My dad would make a weeks worth of  lunches for Tyler and I on Sundays and put them in the fridge. He was afraid lunch meat or anything with mayo would spoil without refrigeration between when we left for school and when we ate lunch so he usually made us PBJs. I can't tell you how disgusting a PBJ becomes after being in the fridge. The jelly turns into something like sticky Jell-O and the peanut butter gets glue like. Not to mention the bread gets kind of hard. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had had potato chips, cheese puffs or a pudding cup like other kids had. But what did my dad give us along with the sandwiches?  Baby carrots, apple slices or boxes of raisins. Ugh! Lol

I love Monterey Jack Cheese! I haven't had it old and dry like that but I do like extra servings of Parmesan cheese on my spaghetti (not sure it's the same thing?). I am a cheese nut, but there is a cheese (I think it's only in the EU?) that has tiny worms in it and on it. Not sure what it's called? But they say it's a delicacy. They scoop it up and put it on a cracker, worms and all. They say most of the flavor comes from the worms that eat the cheese? I must say, one has to wonder how people ever come up with these things?  ???

You will find as you age that "kids these days" tend to do two things wrong when it comes to booze

1. Too much too quick. They drink to get drunk not to enjoy it.
and
2. They drink crappy stuff (often what they can get their hands on). I can pretty much guarantee you that I can find a beer that would suit your palate.

Beer is just like wine in that it is a very very broad term. So the amount of types and flavors available are too numerous to count.

I wonder if a can of tuna is just as good for the cats and about the same cost as the same size can of good cat food.  Canned tuna does not stink as much as some canned pet food.
Plus, we can eat the tuna as it is also people food!

Not sure if dogs or other pets besides cats eat tuna though.

I have heard that canned tuna can actually be linked to cancers in cats if fed often. Did not read or look for the studies tho, so consider it anecdotal

I would avoid eating this cheese!

When I was small, I loved gorgonzola and at first, my mother indulged me but she hated cheese so much that when my brother told me that the blue parts were made by maggots, she encouraged him and I've never eaten it since, even though I know it was a lie.

Until now, I didn't realise that there really is a cheese with maggots.

I heard that in Alaska many eat fermented salmon fishheads.
It is made into a pudding type of cold-served food.

This does not sound appealing, but neither does fishhead or stargazy pie.

Alaskans eat some nasty stuff. I saw one of those shows about Alaska and the native people take a seal flipper, bury it, let it rot and then dig it back up and eat it. Kimchi  ::). You know, that salted or fermented (rotted) vegetable condiment from Korea that smells like a dead animal? Once you get past the smell, I hear it's very delicious and spicy. It's also very healthy for you as well. My self, I couldn't get past the smell. It's a shame because I love spicy foods.

There are foods that are particular to specific cultures.  These often are difficult for people not raised in that culture to appreciate.  I can get that.  I am not what one might call an adventurous eater, but I do get into some Asian cuisine.

The thing I recall from my childhood with ZERO fond memories is something my mother called "Spanish Rice."  Having lived a lifetime since then I understand this concoction had absolutely nothing to do with Hispanic culture.  It was made in the pressure cooker.  That is not really a good sign...  It had this aroma (stench) that made it nearly uneatable to me.  But "You WILL eat what is on your plate!"  This had rice and tomatoes and maybe peppers and I do not recall what else.  These are things that should have been good -- but in that mess they absolutely were not.  It took literally decades after that for me to eat tomatoes.  I still cringe at the thought...

I've made beef tongue. It's actually pretty good. I only made it once though. I had served it sliced nicely on the platter. My dad and brother liked it and Tyler asked what kind of meat it was. When I said it was beef tongue he and my dad wouldn't eat another bite of it. My dad asked me what was wrong with me that I would serve him tongue. I honestly hadn't thought they would get skeezed out over tongue. I felt kind of bad until I remembered my dad ordering horse meat for me when we were in France.  Now we are even. Lol

Beef tongue makes awesome tacos and burritos.  It's weird looking when you cook it, but very tasty.


I have had camel ribs once, they weren't all that great but they were done by army cooks in Kuwait so it's probably way better when cooked by people who care.

Spanish rice is a relatively simple recipe (https://lilluna.com/food-tutorial-spanish-rice/) though there are variations on it as I found one including peppers. The indication that something was wrong with your mother's recipe is the pressure cooker. Pressure cookers work well when you need to apply some serious heat and I have used them for just that however rice is something that needs to be cooked slow and just barely at boiling. If you get impatient cooking rice you will turn it into soup or it will be crunchy, neither which will do the rice justice. Some of the best rice I have ever made was just a cup of white rice, two cups water and about a quarter stick of butter. Cook at a simmer for 15-20 minutes and that's it.

Spanish rice is a relatively simple recipe (https://lilluna.com/food-tutorial-spanish-rice/) though there are variations on it as I found want including peppers. The indication that something was wrong with your mother's recipe is the pressure cooker. Pressure cookers work well when you need to apply some serious heat and I have used them for just that however rice is something that needs to be cooked slow and just barely at boiling. If you get impatient cooking rice you will turn it into soup or it will be crunchy, neither which will do the rice justice. Some of the best rice I have ever made was just a cup of white rice, two cups water and about a quarter stick of butter. Cook at a simmer for 15-20 minutes and that's it.

OK.  I Googled "Spanish Rice Recipe" and found all sorts of hits -- each with a picture.  None of those resemble what I recall seeing on my plate as a child sitting in a pool of disgusting liquid with what I recall as a vile smell.  I never had good rice growing up.  I seldom even try to cook with rice up to this day.  When I make Chana Masala I just eat it right out of the pot even though it should be served over rice.

I will eat rice.  When the soccer team was rescued from the cave in Thailand the boys said they were looking forward to eating pork and rice.  That lit my lights.  Last week I went into town and while there I made a point to go to the Thai restaurant and get pork and rice.  That hit the spot.

Obviously the food I didn't like was not cooked right -- and that is why it is still a bad memory.

Childhood was not a happy time for me...

The Japanese make great rice cookers.  I started off with a cheap Panasonic rice cooker.  I now use an automatic Zojirushi cooker that I load up in the morning and set the timer for when I get home from work.

You are right about that.  I never bought one with a timer, perhaps if the old ones I have ever stop working, I will.

Well hatred is a word i try to avoid using, much less feel.  And then, I am one of the most picky eaters i know of that has survived to such an ancient age.  It would likely be easier to list the foods I do enjoy.  I truly do consider it a disadvantage for traveling and being invited to dinner but remain resolute in indulging myself.  And health?  Well our bodies manage to turn most food into simple sugars capable of being transported about and used by cells. 

My food pyramid has a base of pizza with is perfectly flat and can contain innumerable toppings.

Now back to intolerance.  I avoid most green vegetables and fruits.  Yes, i am Vegephobic.  Vegephobia is an eating disorder usually associated with children who are gifted with stubborn jaw clamping refusal and can endure periods of fasting.  I learned early to skip meals and later about the gag reflex and power of the glottis to shut down or hurl it all back as a projectile.  They gave up trying to make me eat anything.

I sometimes like to invent and assert a "Vegephobics Manifesto":  Plants are living, feeling, reactive and, according to some, thinking beings.  With the advent of human agriculture wild plants have been forced into domestication, hybridized, synthesized, and coerced in to monotonous rows over vast acreages that are cultivated and frequently dosed with pesticides, herbicides and any number of chemical additives or fertilizers.  Let earths plant life live free and in peaceful coexistence with humanity!

Consider that at the prime of their lives millions of innocent, slow moving plants are mowed down, plucked and plundered from the ground or snatched from shrubs and small trees.  Processed by the ton, young and unwilling, plants are abruptly killed by suffocation, cut off, wrapped in plastic and then offered for sale in the ghastly dead plant aisles of supermarkets.  Even baby green spinach leaves are eaten raw!  Oh the carnage of a salad maker!

Being an occasionally moral person I know my tongue and cheek may not amuse the virtuous vegan who allows for more people to live simply by eating lower on the so called food chain.

I will admit to liking pea soup though........ ;) ;) ;)

I do not like to eat octopus or squid.  I know that many enjoy those foods.

I have not tried to eat snails.

Fried rabbit heads, don't think they'll be selling at the local Chinese takeaway fortunately!

I can't say I've seen fried rabbit heads for sale anywhere.  I can't imagine it's all that much different than the rest of the rabbit flavor wise though.


Escargot is pretty good when done well.


But since I'm on a chili theme today, I have to say that I absolutely detest Cincinnati style chili.  I know it's not related to Texas chili, but the cinnamon and other flavors combined just rub me the wrong way.  I've tried it from a few different places (not just skyline and gold star) and simply can't get into it.

Well, rabbit heads and fish heads, whether fried or not, instinctively are high on my ewe / yuk scale.

I have eaten the whole fish as little dried fish or sardines though.  Neither are on my list to try again soon, but they were not disgusting.

The nightmare of Liver and Onions when I was young.

I too dreaded liver and onion's as a kid. We had a school dinner lady who would scare the Gunny & Chuck Norris who yelled at a kid on my table to eat it like it was boot camp. He turned green with each mouthful til he blew chunks like the Exorcist scene

Cant eat raw onion and have to watch out for processed stuff with onion powder (think that's what does it) don't want to do TMI but stomach cramps and ratchet strapped to the loo time!!! When I was little mum used to get a pigs head from butchers and boil it to make brawn, I liked the tongue meat. Liver and onions (as long as they are cooked out!!) is nice as long as liver is not over done.

So, dry tough liver isn't what you like. My mother ruined steaks the same way. I remember on holidays driving to my parents place just to turn the stove to 250 degrees to save the turkey.

I also like liver when cooked properly, as in not turned to chalky leather like my mom used to do. The horrors that woman could produce.... <Shudder>

Deep fried southern style chicken liver is probably my favorite.

I don't like Liver, but I do like liverwurst.  My mother used to make fried chicken liver for me for lunch.  Yummy!

I have not liked to eat liver or tripe.

Chicken feet do not sound appealing either.

I don't always eat a turkey-neck, but I made turkey-neck soup once and it was good.

Liver...yep, LIVER EEEEEEWWWWW!  :-X

Can't stomach cheeses and a lot of other processed dairy foods.

A lot of people hate liver but if you soak it in milk for an hour before you cook it that bitter taste is gone. I've made liver this way for people who hated liver and they liked it.

I do not much care for liver.

I think that I've mentioned it before.
