Hiya everyone I'm new here and I'm 13 days post op live in the UK and had surgery with Tina rashid.
Now thats out the way let's start.
Basically at the entrance of my vagina I have a red sore looks sort of like a blister and hurts when I put dilator in as it obviously touches it but once the dilator is in it doesn't hurt is this normal to have sores at the entrance also I have some flapping skin almost like shredding it doesn't bleed or anything and I'm still able to reach my depth just want to knw what's going on with my vagina lol gender nurse said looks fine and so did my gp

Hi Louise and welcome aboard sister!!!
Congrats on your brave step forward towards making your life what you need it to be!!!
Please don't be troubled... the post op healing process is a time ripe with opportunities to let fears and worries about the healing process run rampant... things down there will go through all sorts of stages and patience will be your friend!!!
If your doctor and nurses are telling you everything looks fine, I would trust them!... just let time and healing do their thing and concentrate on your self care, dialation schedule and don't forget to enjoy each moment of the process!!!
You are one who who did not settle for the cards you were dealt or play the game that was dictated that you play... You chose a bold path dear sister... embrace the power and courage you have seized in shaping your destiny... kudos to you!!!
All will be well
Onward we go brave girl
Ashley 😀❤️🌻

Welcome to Susan's Place. If you need a name, it's probably proud flesh/granulation. It forms early in the healing process and often it fades as you heal. Sometimes it doesn't and when that happens, you should see a doctor to get it treated. The treatment is a simple office treatment where nitrate sticks are used to burn the skin forcing proper healing. Treatment stings a little but it's not very painful and the treatment only takes a minute or two.
